So, do we laugh at Matt Lucas for being an ignorant racist? Or are you trying to say Matt Lucas was playing white characters that chose to do blackface and therefore we should laugh at the character, not Matt Lucas himself? Because that's just not the case for LB. It was Matt, a white man, doing blackface portraying black characters, which IS racist. That's what has aged poorly.
It's not like Always Sunny, where the writers, actors, and audience all know the characters are supposed to be terrible people that we despise. LB was just ML and DW being racist by portraying racist stereotypes for laughs.
@@spoonfuloflizzie I meant for the jokes. The blackface is unacceptable, though it was also unacceptable at the time. It wasn’t a malicious thing, they just wanted to play every character rather than getting other actors in, but it’s still wrong
@@spoonfuloflizzie Matt Lucas I doubt is a racist...it's the intent behind jokes, any race should be able to joke about any other race, is the movie "white girls" racist too or is that ok cuz blacks did it...
@@thedeewolfI was with you until you referred to black girls as “blacks”
@@goosis1905 listening to them was ur first mistake ik they were gonna sum stupid after the " it's not the joke it's the intent behind the joke".... Like it doesn't matter your intent it's the same excuse for people saying slurs
Video title should be ''Ranking funniest UK shows in reverse''
I'm so glad you posted, I was literally having a mental breakdown from all the yelling (I've told my mum to stop but she never does) ily jack ❤
The grapes are finally better and we got James in a Jack video lets goooo
No league of Gentlemen but they have Little Britian and Come Fly with me. Shocking
remember the whole point of these shows are to offended and make you cringe. that the whole joy from watching them
damm no way people here think these have ages badly? crazy how fragile people are these days lmao
Someone who has no comedic talent ranking actual comedy. I enjoyed the irony of this video, thanks.
The peep show is probably worse than a lot of the bottom tier shows you just didn't see many jeremy clips
The Office and The Inbetweeners have aged like fine wine. The protagonists are always the butt of the joke, when they say or do something awful, the audience isn't on their side, they’re waiting for their comeuppance!
Currently being murdered to death but can’t stop that Jack Manifold grind 💪✨
none of these have aged badly, they are just as funny now as they were then. It's literally fine to joke and laugh about anything
As an avid Peep Show watcher through and through, it did age mostly well aside from a few jokes and bits in the earlier seasons. It also becomes way easier for the jokes to slide by because both Mark and Jeremy are potrayed to be bad and flawed people so none of their behavior is glorified as good
