I know this video is almost exactly 2 years old, but I just wanna say this is EXACTLY why I love the sims 3. you can make it into anything you want. Im in love with this so far and I'm itching to try it! I absolutely love medieval and fantasy things, and i'm so glad to find content like this!
I like how physical distance actually matters a lot in the Sims 3 mainly because of the open world. In The Sims 2 and The Sims 4, you have to do a lot of pretending and imagining. Though, in the Sims 4, you can actually pee in a bush. And in the Sims 3, if you own Movie stuff pack, you can buy a little outhouse for your Sim. Just an old-fashioned rustic outhouse.

Yep I am still a die hard Sims 3 player 😋 This world has been working out great for me, but I feel your pain. I too have attempted CAW on multiple times...it never turned out the way I wanted >.
It is a bit of an insane task. Building a world from the ground up with money made in game. I am still trying to work out the bugs in my head on how the heck I am going to do this 🤣
@@mahrirae I was wondering the same thing, I also want to create a world that will evolve over time but I not sure if you can edit later in CAW without losing progress and stuff.

I long since used Options to disable hail in my games, because every time I started a new game it would start hailing and continue hailing for days. Don't mind rain, but hail no! I shall certainly leave it disabled for this challenge, which I'm definitely going to try because it's right up my street: I love everything medieval, and I love building stuff, especially castles. Oh, and I love Malbec, he's perfect.
I am SO glad I found this! This is such an amazing series so far, and I love how much thought you've put into it. I want to try it on my own! lol I can't wait to see how you introduce the othe rkingdoms too 😍
Good question. You have to find a tree that is an object, I believe I got the one you see from around the sims (It was a Sims 4 conversion) then you have to edit some of the information in the package, I will see if I can find the directions.

Glad you are liking the idea 🙂. My suggestion is always to play the way you have fun playing. The rules make it interesting because it adds a layer of difficulty but if you really hate something change it. Make it enjoyable for youeself. I have also really liked building a creative story around my sims as they grow. Nothing in the challenge is planned. I randomize the traits, but I do allow myself a few rerolls if I find it REALLY bad. And as I play I let my sims personalities tell me how they will behave and govern. It has been really fun so far 😁

Just about all the clothes I use are The Sims Mediveal conversions. Not sure if the site I originally got them from is still around. I can see if I can find an active link for you.
So I do think the original links to these conversions are dead. I found this, but it looks to be a mega reupload of a bunch of conversions not just the clothes. They only have the objects right now, but you can maybe keep an eye there and see if they ever do the clothing . You will need the NRAAS Register mod. Then you need to click on a city hall or computer and go to NRAAS -> Register -> Global Roles and you should see stuff for Paparazzi. I normally turn allow paparazzi to false, max number of paparazzi to 0 and if the game has already created them remove paparazzi. The path might be named slightly different. I am going mostly on memory, but that is definetly the mod I use 😁

The water likely looks clear because it is very shallow(I am guessing you mean in the forest lot?) I also put some terrain paint under it to make it look slightly more blue.

I can’t remember which episode it was that you were having trouble with the subway station so I’ll just post this here. I was looking for some mods to help with travel in roadless worlds and someone wanted to use the llama booth thing and they used the nraas traffic mod. They said they disabled car travel and everyone used the llama booths. That world had roads tho so it might not work the same way idk I’m just throwing out ideas

What you need here is the One With Nature mod - lets you pee on the ground and wash in oceans or rivers. It's on Mod the Sims
