ACTION AT NATA
Visiting the bird sanctuary is a very good idea. Getting there in the wet season is a different story.
Nata Bird Sanctuary is a reserve that covers an area of 230 km² and is situated on the North-Eastern fringe of the Sowa Pan, near the town of Nata. The Sanctuary was founded in 1992 to preserve wildlife, especially bird species. It is one of only three nesting places for flamingos in Africa.
