I love discovering Batswana overlanding channels!!! The pans always teach a lesson when you drive off the beaten track...hahaha... Dropping tyre pressures should've the first thing to do, it would have definitely helped the maxtrax give you more traction... then I would have unhooked the trailer to get the car out first and then slowly pull trailer with a tow strap. (either way, with a trailer it still would have been some hardwork)... The trailer was the reason the red hilux couldn't get out. Love the content... I was in Khutse 2 weekends ago... Heading to CKGR & Nxai Pan in 10 days...
😅 we learnt the hard way on that day, we had deflated the tyres in Gweta but clearly not low enough, unhinging the trailer was an option but we would of struggled to get it out as the jockey wheel would have caused further problems by sinking, the Pans were just too wet. Enjoy your trip to CKGR & Nxai cant wait for the content
Woow mbokodo, wish my wife was adventurous my sister, i hunt i camp but solo she doesn't eat game health meat she doesn't camp tjooo I'm in trouble here, woow picking up the woods along the way that's true African ❤❤❤
I know this route and have already driven it. We made it to Kubu Island, the salt pans can be really treacherous. Not funny to getting stuck there in the dark.
At 1st we thought they were wild horses but they are actually domesticated they are used to round up life stock and also used as a mode of transport by the locals
I love coming across black owned overlanding channels. Definitely subscribed for more content.

Never drive across the pans. Always around. No matter how tempted you are for a shortcut.
Hahaha lesson learnt 😅
