Maul was a badass in the EU as well. I mean he did kill the Jedi Temple's Battlemaster Anoon Bondara and his apprentice Darsha Assant, then he defeated Siolo'urmanka who was one of the best duelists in the order, he killed off an entire criminal organization by himself, and even survived a duel with Darth Sidious after a week of constant fighting, no nourishment or sleep. He really is one of the most badass characters in Star Wars
@@theknifestalker8395 then you're missing out. The EU further shows maul's capabilities and maul was jedi master level threat, even more considering he had stih training.
Darth Maul was a Sith. He honestly could have taken them out that easily. If you read the books and comics, you'd understand how insanely dominant he was. The Phantom Menace simply didn't show what Maul was capable of.
+keante white Didn't show how dominate he was? He took out a Jedi master like it was nothing. He would have beaten Obi-wan to, but he got cocky at the end. That, combined with obi-wan appearing to use his emotions, is what caused his downfall.
+keante white I don't think that's necessarily fair. Jinn and Obi Wan Kenobi were two of the best duelists the order had. In Obi Wans's prime, he is arguably the best duelist in the order. Jinn was definitely in the top 10, or so when he was murdered.
Darth Maul's demise was poorly depicted, that's all. When they flesh it out on paper it all makes a lot more sense but when they try to put it on film, well... the scenario they showed in How It Should Have Ended (HISHE) for Phantom Menace was a lot more realistic; Darth Maul "It's over Jedi! I have the high ground!" Obi Wan clings to the strut over the abyss and calls his master's lightsaber towards him. Darth Maul "Don't try it... " Obi Wan leaps. Darth Maul cuts him in half. Obi Wan falling to his death in two pieces "I immediately regret my decision!" Roll credits. Nod.
You seemed a little confused by the ending. I was too at first. In my opinion, Maul saw how she used her anger and wanted to take her as an apprentice. However since Palpatine was watching, he had to kill her. Also you may underestimate Maul. He is powerful, and although he is not on the level of those such as Anakin Skywalker, Windu, Yoda and Palpatine, he is very skilled, able to defeat one of the best duelists in the order, Qui Gon Jinn. He only lost to Kenobi because of his arrogance. He also went toe to toe with Obi Wan in the Clone wars; an impressive feat. His force abilities, while also often underestimated are greatly proficient, and just because he focuses on his Lightsaber training over them does not mean they are not above average. He has great telekinetic precision, and his force augmentation allows him immense increases in power, which is another reason he appears to use the force less; he focuses most of it on his physical augmentation. He also pulled an entire shuttle off a cliff when under immense stress. Yes, he is not at the very top level by any means, but he is pretty damn formidable.
You got it. As soon they where in that valley like stone formation he could separate them easy and take out the padawan while fighting the obi like Jedi who turned to the dark side now and is a big thread now bc he is obviously the most skilled fighter of the jedi.
she could not fight for shit but she could have been so much more that's why it took maul so long to kill her he would have liked to train her in the ways of the dark side but he had no choice but to kill her
To be perfectly honest, I think it makes sense how Maul is here as opposed to how he is during the Clone Wars. Like when you think about it, Maul's attitude here can be seen as his outer exterior when completing missions. Whereas, how he is during the Clone Wars is more like one of the Sith's inner emotional layers, y'know?
That was not Shaak Ti. She has a blue Lightsaber. That was not Ashoka Tano either because she has two white lightsabers since being expelled from the Jedi order. There are multiple Togruta Jedi in the Star Wars universe. Shaak Ti and Ashoka are not the only ones
Outside the Phantom Menace and Clone Wars, Maul was a beast, not only was he trained in the ways of the Darkside and Lightsaber combat but from a young age he was trained as an Assassin for the sole purpose of exterminating Jedi.......... he wasn't even close to being used to even a 1/4 of his potential in either the film nor the series. No he could EASILY dispatch 6 Jedi (everyone seems to forget about the First man bun Jedi that he gutted). THIS IS how Maul should have been portrayed.
The fan film is absolutely AMAZING!! I've probably seen it a million times. Nice reaction. And I want the the guy who played Darth Maul in this to be replaced in the Phantom Menance. And the Twe'lik isn't Shaak Ti. She has a blue lightsaber and its, obviously not Ashoka Tano cause she's be too young.
I love that throughout the fight, he legitimately looked like he pitied her. And if his master wasn't watching, he probably would have let her live. That's why he was so angry when he did it.
I have a feeling that if this Darth Maul had been in The Phantom Menace the movie would've had a very different ending. I could hardly imagine the original being cut in half by Padawan Kenobi, but this beast? No effing way!
If you thought Maul couldn't handle against 5 Jedi by himself, then try watching General Grievous take on 5 Jedi at once in Clone Wars Chapter 20, where he made his amazing debut. That is, if you haven't seen it yet.
DarkSteven17 exactly and even though Grievous did have the help of mechanical Parts he couldn't use the force so byproduct of that if a non Force user could defeat five Jedi at once you think a Sith Lord like Darth Maul could
I would assume he survived because he was supposedly wearing Beskar of some sort. But I'm like everyone else, I'd really like to know his backstory. He seems like a very interesting character.
Seriously Darth Maul is a sith. Count Dooku could have killed 5 Jedi easily. If a Sith Lord our Sith apprentice couldn't dispose of 5 Jedi then the Sith would have been alot easier to kill and they would have actually gone extinct with the rule of 2 possibly failing I imagine that the final trial of any sith apprentice would likely be to kill multiple Jedi at once since anyone could kill a single Jedi
let me give you a few reasons why Mall could be five Jedi reason number one in Clone Wars Grievous killed five Jedi once as well and though he did have the help of mechanical parts he is a non Force user while Darth Maul is a Sith Lord so if Grievous not being able to use the force managed to kill 5 Jedi it is reasonable that maul could reason number two mole has bested a lot of very skilled Warriors in combat zample number one being how he took on three of the acquisitors at once in Rebels and then second example is that he fought and held his own against the emperor himself during the end of Clone Wars and the emperor was arguably the strongest force user at that time reason number 3 why more could pull this off he wants smart during this fight you asked why he was running away it's so that he could get a tactical advantage over them because he knew that he probably would not be able to take them both at once now that the guy had understood how his fighting style worked finally the last reason why Mall could do this is because his fighting style in general see the lightsaber staff more commonly known as the double sided lightsaber give him a tactical advantage over any single sided lightsaber due to the fact that he is two blades one to block him when to attack thus he can do multiple people at the same time due to having twice the weaponry combine this with his abilities strength and smarts and he could most likely take on five Jedi the same time now I'm going to assume these were Jedi Knights besides the Padawan if this was four Jedi Masters and one night he probably wouldn't have been able to do it
Qui Gon and Obi Wan were a bit stronger then the average Jedi Knight. Qui Gon was about even with a master in his prime but his age vs Darth is what lost it for him. Obi wan... well he either had the element of surprise but a lot of people like to say he tapped into darkside to win the fight. These Jedi were.... alright. The ones with the Green sabers were most likely the better ones. I think it was honestly 3 Knights and 3 padawans. Just a speculation with how easy the Blue sabers went down. The first green saber to go down.. idk maybe she was far better with the force then she was saber fighting. Anyones guess. But love this fan film to death, thanks for the reaction.
Well I have seen the clone wars and he was a badass he beat the shit out of obi wan he killed pre vizla and even held his own against sidious pretty good and even almost beat him
those Jedi were no where near the skill or power obi wan and anakin, or mace. that pretty girl with the blue saber pissed me off. absolute disgrace to the Jedi order
True but maul only lived cuz sidious let him. I never read any of the EU I just watch the movies the clone wars and rebels
@@theknifestalker8395 then you're missing out. The EU further shows maul's capabilities and maul was jedi master level threat, even more considering he had stih training.

"why is Darth maul running away from them"
me: BECAUSE HE HAS THE HIGH GROUND....or rather he will if he runs
That's not Shaak Ti, that's just a togruta jedi.

Hey guys there is a minor audio bug that causes my dialogue to not sync with my mouth movements. I hope this does not happen again. Enjoy!
Thanks
Hey theknifestalker don't forget Darth maul In season 7 of the clone wars
As palpatine said... "Blinded by arrogance..."
why is he running? picking a spot to kill the jedi tactical thinking
You got it. As soon they where in that valley like stone formation he could separate them easy and take out the padawan while fighting the obi like Jedi who turned to the dark side now and is a big thread now bc he is obviously the most skilled fighter of the jedi.
Darth Maul is my Favorite Charakter from Star Wars he is badass
she could not fight for shit but she could have been so much more that's why it took maul so long to kill her he would have liked to train her in the ways of the dark side but he had no choice but to kill her

When you realize that this is better than Star wars
That was not Shaak Ti. She has a blue Lightsaber. That was not Ashoka Tano either because she has two white lightsabers since being expelled from the Jedi order. There are multiple Togruta Jedi in the Star Wars universe. Shaak Ti and Ashoka are not the only ones
Eric Paulus ashoka was not in the jedi order at the time either
Considering Anakin's like 9 years old at this point in time Ahsoka is probably an infant
That stare off did take long lol
Outside the Phantom Menace and Clone Wars, Maul was a beast, not only was he trained in the ways of the Darkside and Lightsaber combat but from a young age he was trained as an Assassin for the sole purpose of exterminating Jedi.......... he wasn't even close to being used to even a 1/4 of his potential in either the film nor the series. 10:28 when you see maul turn someone into sushi
Lol

Great Film! Great Reaction!
video of the year in germany 2016.
Azahrak real good XD
Deutsch-super gut xD
I love that throughout the fight, he legitimately looked like he pitied her. And if his master wasn't watching, he probably would have let her live. That's why he was so angry when he did it.
He fought five Jedi already, dude’s still not tired yet.
Germany can make good cars(BMW) AND crazy movies :D
I have a feeling that if this Darth Maul had been in The Phantom Menace the movie would've had a very different ending. I could hardly imagine the original being cut in half by Padawan Kenobi, but this beast? No effing way!
Well, he defeated Jinn and Kenobi, who were bests, Obi just was lucky in last moment.
made in germany!
Azahrak i know the guy who played Maul in this😃
Maul Is like: You are all my bitches now!
Ya pretty much lol
He got That intro from Tyron magnus
Pewdiepie and bane in this man lol

nice video m8. your reactions were awesome :D
By the way, I don't think that Togruta was Shaak ti, She could be anyone. And by the way don't you think that sounded a little alien racist........
R.I.P Shak-Ti.
Should've stayed at the clone facility.
I can't tell that if that was sarcasm or not, but that wasn't Shaak Ti.
That Tyrone Magnus intro!!!
Simple, that isn't Shaak Ti!
If General Grevous can do it why can't Maul?
They went after him cause this is before ep1 as seen in the beginning they were planning the droid army.
Did you like it
I would assume he survived because he was supposedly wearing Beskar of some sort. But I'm like everyone else, I'd really like to know his backstory. He seems like a very interesting character.
"spaceship" lol Lego movie
When. Maul killed the guys who looked like obi wan it reminded me of when malgus killed the giy and destroyed the temple
the obi won guy in this flim looks also like pewdiepie
that was a great fan film awesome reaction
I believe this maul can't defeat dooku
Joshua Bowman ayee tsubasaaaaaa
Why not? If Maul survived in the movies (yes, in the movies. Not the TV Shows) Dooku wouldn't be an apprentice to Palpatine.
Do not underestamet the power of the dark side.
That female jedi is so beautiful.
Knife like your reaction
I defeat Darth Maul Before And I Can Defeat Him Again
best star wars film made bar none
Seriously Darth Maul is a sith. Count Dooku could have killed 5 Jedi easily. it took two Jedi masters to take out maul
6 jedi
Not shakti
She should’ve got trained by Master Vrook a Jedi Master
dude you keep asking how can he kill 5 Jedi were your eyes closed
I mean can
no way he van do it you just saw him do it bro lol
I hate that people barely ever count the first Jedi he kills
❤️💦🙏🏼👌🏼💪🏻👊🏻⚔️🇩🇪
The best lord sith

Bruh finessed TyroneMagnus' intro
When people dont know jack shit about Darth Maul and asume he is weak.
Well I have seen the clone wars and he was a badass he beat the shit out of obi wan he killed pre vizla and even held his own against sidious pretty good and even almost beat him
Maul is a beast ( : I just get little pissed when people who doesnt know start to talk dumb shit.
this is what star wars is Disney ruined it beyond repair
i mean hey, he killed qui gon
those Jedi were no where near the skill or power obi wan and anakin, or mace. that pretty girl with the blue saber pissed me off. absolute disgrace to the Jedi order
The Brown Recluse the mortal kombat one was cool though
@The Brown Rectum Dude she was a padawan in times of peace. You have not really a idea what a jedi is huh?
THATS ALIEN RASISM....OH A TOGRUTA JEDI...MUST BE SHAAK TI....naaah just kidding 😉
He killed 6 jedi
Luke should have shown his capabilities it Luke is the most powerful of all Jedi or sith
Lil man ya gonna pick this apart cuz maul set up ambush he needed to sharpen his blade too got dull dicing jedi
Dew it
blows away anything Lucas did or disney
I cringe so hard at your intro.
