I'm one who will be on the meds forever to save my life (my HbA1c went from 9.0 to 5.1 and I am down 225 lbs in 2 years, weighing 180 lbs and still going down). I think the way you are listening to your body is fantastic. Microdosing sounds like it's working perfectly for you and the weaning off the way you are as well as your plans for the future are really wonderful. Keep having a great life and have fun!

Many congratulations on your success! I'm on my third day and the nausea/headache has lessoned. I haven't had the desire to exercise but you've motivated me to get in a little bit every day until I feel better.

thanks so much! congrats to you too! If you can, it'd be great to just do some weight lifting so that you don't have to much muscle mass loss. Best of luck!

Hi Madison! I am so happy for you and wish I was a hyper-responder! I have been on Zepbound sense Feb 15th and finally lost 30 lbs. I still have about 10 lbs to get to where I want to be. One thing that has been hard for me is the food noise. I am a therapist and first identified the lack of food noise as a reduction of intrusive obsessive thoughts about food (or degrading myself for not eating better). That alone has made me love this medication! I am super nervous about the noise coming back. I am on 10mg now. I think I am a hypo-responder...lol

Congrats on your success! That’s interesting about it being a reduction of intrusive thoughts. Totally makes sense though. The food noise coming back has deff been a struggle for me. I’m working on coping strategies but I’m finding intermittent fasting and having non-eating and eating windows of time seems to be helping.

I found your channel today and I love your videos your voice is very calming. I feel I’m in the same place as you I have about 35lbs to lose but I don’t want to be on the meds long term I ordered my first month of tirzepatide today and I plan to use your weaning methods after I reach my goal

This was so helpful. Thanks for sharing your journey. I’m in almost the exact situation you are in terms of maintenance. I think I need to drop to 15 or 10 units of Tirz every week.💕

So glad it was helpful! There’s not a ton of info on weaning off or on maintenance after so I’m just kinda doing my best ha

a tip for a food noise, try to distract yourself have something to do, be busy or go outside with your loved ones I'm sure it will go away. and eat something fulfilling in the morning so you don't think of food through out the day my favorite breakfast is eggs

I hope you continue your programs throughout your maintenance journey. I feel it would be so helpful to you as well as your followers on maintenance or preparing in the future for maintenance. I entered this journey planning for my life "after" the weight loss which can be frightening. Thank you!!!

Ty for sharing your journey! I’m 68 lost 20 pounds on my own but the last 25 seemed impossible to obtain . We have a wellness clinic here so my doctor started me on a MicB12 shot for energy then added a compound Olympic. We did low and slow .10 first 2 weeks now I’m on .15 with a weight loss of 10 pounds in 3 weeks. Protein shakes working out 3 days a week at the gym and water aerobics has helped me. I have a family history of Type 2 diabetes and 6 of our family members including myself have had a stroke that we all recovered from. Can’t believe insurance doesn’t cover this but it has been money well spent. 😊

Thank you. Our journeys are similar. Quite helpful. I went up to 5.0 after a month. I will stay there and then back off to 2.5 when I hit my goal weight. Thank you again. Ron

Side note.. I contacted JoinFridays and enquired if the compound was sodium based. They responded that they use “base”, not sodium….That seems to be important to some.

I plan on staying on Mounjaro 15mg.I was on Ozempic for a while but transferred over to Mounjaro to help with my A1C which it has lowered I don’t need to lose weight but I’ll take a few pounds off if it comes.

    • @MadisonLoethen

Look into a glucomannan (konjac root) supplement to help with cravings and feeling full. It’s natural and may help as you taper off. I’m looking at loosing a stubborn 15lbs and rebuilding habits. I think investing in tirizepatide low dose for 2 months to jumpstart a better lifestyle. Thanks for the review. ❤

Be careful with the IUD, that’s how I gain my weight

Ugh that sucks. My body seems to be doing much better with the IUD than the birth control pill I was on
