I have been on Tirzepatide lowest amount from compounding pharmacy for 2.5 months. I have lost 22 lbs. I have 8 lbs more to go. It really does take your appetite away. So much so I sometimes forget to eat. 😂 The only side effect I have had is dizziness and fatigue. The doctor said I need to increase my protein so have started with a protein shake in the morning and it has helped the fatigue. The dizziness is from low blood sugar which has improved somewhat with the protein shake. I am very happy with the results and am so thankful I can afford the medication. If you can, go for it!

Deff don’t be afraid of it! It’s an insulin needle so it’s super small and you hardly feel it. If you’re paying out of pocket you’ll probably like the compound more. What comes in the vials almost always gives your medicine for much more than 4 weeks.

That’s ridiculous IMO….✌

I'm taking wegovy (prescribed by a doctor). It's been 3 months and only lost 10 pounds. My doctor has now prescribed zepbound (she believes that this will work better for me). I'll take my first dose next week. I'm paying out of pocket and using the injectable pen. So, my doctor suggested that I try a compounded version of zepbound. I'm worried about two things: having to inject myself using a needle instead of a pen and I'm a little leary about the compound meds. Such as what's really in the medication and how sterile is the environment that the medicine is produced in. I've never even held a syringe. How do you learn how to load the syringe correctly and inject myself (I have always been extremely scared of getting shots). Now, I'm considering giving myself a shot.😮 Could someone please respond to my concerns? Thanks.
I was nervous about self injecting with the compound too but it’s honestly been totally fine. I found instructions the meds come with are pretty clear. Plus the price difference is huge.
Try your local urgent cares. I started going to an urgent care that has a weight loss program and they inject the compounded tripeptide. So you don't have to inject yourself. Plus they are cheaper than online and include B12 shots. 🙌🏾
Not to be a Debbie downer but it’s beyond hard to maintain the weight loss after you get off. The weight comes back crazy ! Just speaking from personal experience 😢

I think its easier to maintain for people who had max 30 lbs to lose. But if you are 250 plus and lost 100 lbs in a year that would be really hard to maintain without the drug

Ordinarily, I wouldn’t care how people chose to lose weight but people who actually need Ozempic are having to jump hoops and all it really takes is eating right and exercising to lose weight in the same time.
I’m on the compound so I’m not taking Ozempic away from anyone. I tried diet and exercise a whole year before trying medication. It has really improved my health, and I’m so glad I did it.

Any side affects?
Some nausea, fatigue and occasional stomach upset. Still no regrets about doing it though. It was deff still worth it to me.
What's the best time to inject it? Morning? Evenings? Fasted? Before meals? Etc...
Can be with or without food. I prefer injecting in the evening a couple hours before bed.
I prefer to do it before bed so that I'm sleeping if side effects start. You can do it with or without eating!
