Great advice. What a lovely person you are, Caroline. Driven, smart, hard-working, strong, and independent. One of the biggest problems I faced when starting my self-published business was actually people telling me not to do it more than anything else. Like you, I had to push through that uncomfortable atmosphere and just do it for myself. Today, no one cares other than to wish me well! We need a bit more of that today.

Thank you for sharing this Self publishing wisdom.
You can always choose working form 9 - 5 ;) 120 book divided in 36 (36 months = 3 years) gives 3.3 book per month. Knowing that it's mostly an AI / Canva / etc. generated content and after, let's say the 10th, it becomes kind of a repetitive pattern of actions of a ... self-publishing, I wouldn't make a fuss about it. It's work, a job you've chosen to do (plus being paid by YT form ads) and if one wants to have results, the effort must be put in. Simple, however, a good idea to make a video about it.

I appreciate your channel content. I have been really trying to prepare for my KDP journey and have done some of the things you have said. I do have some questions. I plan on a nom de plum for a low content series as well as another for my medium content. Would that mean promoting 2 brands? Would it be smarter to make them under one nom de plum and one brand? Thanks.

Ive started my low content book journey in early april and its alot to learn and know...alot of trial and error..alot of self doubt...ALOT of work determined to be as creative and original with my cover designs. Its been hard and it only been one month. Im not giving up tho😊
the question is: how do you find out what your audience wants? Do you look at successful competitor books and make assumptions? I think that works partially but not entirely. What works for one doesnt work for another. What is your advice?
thanks for your advice. I have a problem with the quality of the sheets in kdp. the cheap ones are really horrible when using markers or watercolors. How do you sell without being ruined by heavy reviews?

Plagiarism or copyright infringement. Trademark infringement too. Those are apparently frequently why books are blocked. Did you ask Amazon why?
Great advice but I've wondered why are there so many edits in this?
She answered this a few months ago. She said that she'd edits out the "fillers" the likes and ums and her mess-ups, also she has a kid, so if she gets interrupted she edits out.

This is a good example of not being able to make any money on KDP regardless of how many ebooks you publish on KDP. I know for fact that Amazon makes money on authors and don't pay them a dime. I've found my ebooks being promoted by KDP on other websites that I know nothing about. And forget asking KDP about this. They won't answer you. With over 200 titles KDP just suddenly closed my account. Talk about having a monopoly on book publishing. Forget KDP, so called people like this. The most I ever paid with KDP was thirty some dollars for one month. I've stopped publishing with KDP, and write for myself. I currently have about forty titles on KDP. They only showing about five. With over four million authors on KDP you're going to get lost. And I've never understood this keyword baloney. Phooey.
Would be worth following the channel if you declare what your actual successes are? Not watched any of your videos that show this. All videos are repetitive nothing new... and I think you are using AI now to do these videos?

I just found her channel so no opinion on your comment beyond the fact she has published over 120 books in recent years. That takes a fair amount of time and effort so I'm guessing it has been financially rewarding.

I'm not even going to finish this video I watched half of it. So you put your name on something that somebody else wrote. This is not publishing. I don't care how you want to twist this sister. This is not publishing. This is not what an authentic writer does. No one should make money with this false narrative.
Good lord. She tried that method once, 11 years ago, and abandoned it immediately. Since 2020 she's published 120 books entirely of her own design. Talk about a rush to judgment.
@Robertr.5703 this method is quite literally the definition of publishing. Do you think Simon and Schuster are two guys who are writing thousands of books together yearly?
Publishing is indeed what she is doing. She is a publisher, not an author.
