So with chrome you are always told don't touch after cure just put on clear coat. So you find there is any issues with finger prints or any contamination by wiping with finder and not cleaning before clear goes on? I never used chrome as my base in two tones because I was afraid of my finger prints contaminating before clear goes on. Great vid love watching yr two tone videos the best
You need to invest in some high temp wheels to put on your carts so you can just roll your carts in and out of the oven. I designed my carts and added the high temp wheels.
The wheels look great but it looks like to me you need to make your powder coat Booth a little wider where you can stay off the walls with your backs .
Hey guys can you take a pair of motorcycle wheels, Suzuki M109r, and do a polished lip but with a brushed silver finish on the face like how RUCCI wheels have?
I have a 2001 Chevy S1010 it is AZR2 package I have aluminum rims on there I want to have them done black and Chrome Chrome please comment back on what it would cost I live in Connecticut thank you so very much for this video these wheels look magnificent thank you again I hope you comment back

You said that you have the chrome "bonded" pretty good. Does that mean the chrome powder was half cured or? So how long is the first powder in the oven for? Also do you not tape the hub on wheels? Thanks

Wash your hands first and you should be good. In had no issues.

I asked two shops locally to do this they said no.
I wish I could find a shop to do it.

Custom jobs like that are charged at a rate of 125 per hour, 2 to 3 hrs per wheel.

Why do you have to clear coat the chrome?
it will fade realy fast in the sun without clear

Hey Dan, would it be any easier to base coat the gray 1st and then tape it off as opposed to the way you presented❓❓
Taping it off leaves bad edge after curing.

Think that was from Prismatic back in the day, we use polished alum. now or we use chrome from IFS

i thought that you had to scuff it up before you add another paint job did i miss something
If you only do a partial cure it will cross linc to the next layer
