@@keiasiakennard5560 Sorry for the delayed response. I use a coffee grinder - if yours has a setting- use the finest setting. It’s should feel like fine dust. I moisturise my hair with chebe-infused leave-in cream (low porosity hair), then apply the powder on the parted section and follow with my hair oil/light grease mix (whichever I fancy at the time).
I'm familiar with DIY's and they work, but I love to help a sister out by subscribing. I'm sooo happy and proud to see that black women are showing the world that _you don't have to be mixed, to have natural long hair._ You have beautiful hair! Greetings from The Netherlands 💙💜🤎😃
I’m not really aware of my hair growth rate but all that in 8 months most people hope to see in a year so I hope my rate is as fast as yours! Due to poor mental health I had to start over and now I’m very mindful of my hairs health after wondering why I kept having issues!
I shampoo my scalp every 2 weeks, but this can vary. If I feel like it is necessary I will wash it sooner or if seems okay I’ll wait. It all depends on how my scalp is feeling.
You can always let the chebe powder steep in hot oil or melted shea butter and then strain it and mix it with whatever product you like. Or just keep it as a chebe infused oil/butter for a sealant
I’m doing this for 3 months, and this is my 2nd month into it. So far am seeing growth 😊 would be taking it down by next month and then do a length check to see my progress. Nice video ❤ New Subbie ❤❤
I leave it in. I am going to upload a video with more details explaining my routine. I feel like if I type it in the comments I will just confuse people.
Thank you 💕 I’ve been taking better care of it since 2017/2018 but I do cut a couple of inches every year. As for Chebe I only used it once consistently. That was for 8 months in 2018 I think. I’ve tried to use it again more recently but it is hard to stay consistent.
Hi, are you using this as a leave in and then styling your hair with the mixture in it? Or as a deep conditioner and then rinsing it out? Also, does the powder eventually dissolve or does it stay gritty?
Do you still use henna as well? I use henna also but I have never tried chebe, I am scared that too much of things will break off my hair. What do you think are they similar? I use henna every 6 weeks, but I am interested in chebe as well. Love your videos.
I use henna every now and then. I don’t do it too often as it can be a lot of work. I have used henna while using Chebe and haven’t had any issue. I wouldn’t say that they are similar. To me Henna is more of a powder where chebe reminds me of like sand. It is kind of gritty. If I were to used both, I probably would just apply less Chebe on the week that I do henna as they are both hard for me to wash out.
I leave it in. I’m going to post a video showing what I do. I feel like if I write it here I might confuse you lol I tried typing it out but it wasn’t. making sense.
The only product in my hair when I straighten it it heat protectant. As for the emu oil that was was the main oil I used. If I ran out I would just use another oil like olive oil until I was able to buy more emu oil.
I buy it from Sahel Cosmetics. I believe she was the one of the first people if not the first to speak about it online. She started selling it and that is where I bought mine. I could be wrong but I believe she also sells it in bulk for some of there other companies/people you may see selling it but I’m not 100% sure about that. I’m comfortable buying it from her. I don’t buy it from anywhere else.
Your hair has really grown ❤
Thanks for watching!
I grind my chebe powder to a super fine consistency. It helps with the grainy issue
Hi. What do you grind it with?
@@keiasiakennard5560Hi, I use a small grinder. Coffee grinder will work. It may cost you about $10.00. I hope that helps you. 😊
@@keiasiakennard5560. Use a food processor.

You shampoo your hair every month, week🤷🏾♀️? And what kind of shampoo you use? You’re inspiring sis!🎉

I’m on Month 2. I gotta start documenting. This is soo exciting and promising
I hope you get the results you’re looking for 😊 Good luck!
Thank you for sharing, that's a lot of beautiful progress ❤️
Thank you! 😊
Thank you for sharing. Do you have a video on how to apply Chebe?
Omg look at such wonderful growth I’m definitely gonna do this and wear my hair under a kinky wig .
That is a lot of growth. Wish I could use it unfortunately, I don't like having anything grainy in my hair.
Understandable, you can always try it without the Chebe. I honestly feel like the consistency in the routine is more important than the Chebe itself.
If you don't want the grains with your chebe mixture, you can grind it, then sift it, then turn it into a butter instead. It works just as well.
You can always let the chebe powder steep in hot oil or melted shea butter and then strain it and mix it with whatever product you like. Or just keep it as a chebe infused oil/butter for a sealant
Great video. Starting Chebe soon. Just wanted a simple way to mix and apply. Thanks Sis.
Thank you 😊
Your hair is beautiful!! I use chebe but not consistently. I'll try to use it more often.
Thanks for sharing
At this point I kind of use it on and off as well. Sometimes I have the energy sometimes I don’t. 🤷🏾♀️
Thanks
How often do you straighten your hair now? What is your go to style?

I leave it in and it doesn’t dissolve. It stays gritty.
Do you have low or high porosity hair?
I’m not sure but if I had to take a guess low porosity. It take a minute for my hair to absorb water. So whichever one that is.
Wow beautiful
Nice video ❤
Thank you 😊

I was going to request for you to do a video on how you use it! Any idea when it will be posted? 😊
Your hair is beautiful. Did the chebe powder have a hard time penetrating your strands or did it sit on top of your hair? Tfs.
Thank you! I wouldn’t say it penetrates the strands. It just sits on top.
you wash this out or leave it in, if you mentioned it in the video I apologize

I'll like to learn from it too, I've grain hair too and it's itchy too

@@milami.ty… so when you use the leave in mixture, do you just do a protective style?
@@sthephotog4333 yes, I mainly wear twist but recently I have been liking braids.
can this be used on other hair types? and how do you use it?
I don’t see why not. People may have to adjust it a little to suit their hair type or preferences.
Just started July 27. Doing this for 6 months. Would be posting progress on my channel
Good luck! 😊
Do you do the greenhouse method while using this chebe mixture?
Yes but it wasn’t intentional. I wrapped my hair with a shower cap because I didn’t want to mess up my clothes or bedding with the oil in my hair.
@@milami. Thanks.
