    • @thehistoricalgamer
      @thehistoricalgamer  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't see an artillery barrage, but I did by the end start hitting them with air more. You make a good point though, rivers seem to be far bigger obstacles in this than they were in Strategic Command.

    • @jurgen4466
      @jurgen4466 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Units have build in arty and they attack first. You can see in manual what each unit has in it, But its mainly art, antitank, antiair, tanks, firearms. You can buy special unit enginner ( by special points you get automaticly) to attack to units that make them better over rivers. You should air strike them and try outflank rivers and attack both from over and from side then the river is not that good defence any longer.

    This style of game has been done a hundred times. If a developer wants to do this genre with the hex map, just like the old ones from the 90's they best be bringing something new. When I see this type of game being redone, with nothing new added, and on top of that having only european theatre available, it just looks like a lazy ass cash grab, from a lazy ass developer. It's one of the easiest type programs to write, and it just looks super lazy if you don't do the whole world map. Even the European theatre is bland and lazily done. This looks like shiet.
