If you bought WarPlan Pacific on Steam please leave a review. My goal is 10 Steam purchase reviews so I get listed.
I have 20 total all positive but 13 don't count as they were Matrix purchases.

Hey Alvaro! I left my review on Steam a day after we released the review here. Really enjoy the game and look forward to your next installment - Luke

And another very good video, thanks, Luke ! I have the game like the same one on Western Front, but (almost) never played. I like your way of playing, trying to understand in game and then, later, digging in the manual to understand some point. I think it's a good way to discover a game. And if makes sense, even if it's complicated, it could be played. So, from your review, I'm pretty sure that Warplan Pacific is an excellent game ! So, I won't be able to play it in the near future, but for sure I will later : I know what to expect and there are good things !

Superb review, excellently made and valuable and pertinent information conveyed! This game stirs my interest highly now! 🙂 Just saying, I own War in the Pacific - Admiral Edition and it is a behemoth that is super hard to get into. Its big campaign is almost unplayable or unmanageable rather. I got burned out after some 6 weeks, might revisit in the future. WP Pacific seems a little bit more accessible and has a more modern UI which is also welcome. Thanks for this great review!

Since this is a step up from an entry level war game, which war games do you consider entry level?

@@LTGamingTH-cam Thanks LT Gaming. 'Ignored' that game when it came out, because of the RTS tag. But looking closely at it, it is much simpler (and therefore approachable). Love the WWII Pacific theatre aspect of Warplan Pacific, but the complexity is preventing me from pulling the trigger ... for now. Wondering if Attack at Dawn: North Africa would be a better 1st step into war gaming.

@@nielskistrup8231 I felt that it was, Always a genre ive been interested in and it opened the door for me. The RTS element i think is a real innovation and I think the developer can build on it! Warplan is not that difficult once you sit down and spend some time with it :)

@@LTGamingTH-cam Going through a serious of intro videos to Warplan Pacific now, so still holding out hope. Took me over 95 hours to get through the CMO tutorials, so I can be patient trying to wrap my head around these things.

It's a wargame. That is the style of the game and defo feels modern with the UI and smooth interface.

After 120 hours of gameplay, I can tell you this game is not worth your money. I speak from the aspect of gameplay. Recon is non existence, submarines add little to the game and naval combat is not representative of pacific naval combat. you can highlight other aspects of this game but when it comes down to the nitty gritty, its about gameplay and the this game does not get it done correctly or even in a fun way. SIMPLY PUT THATS WHY THIS GAME HAS NOT TAKEN OFF after all the time it has been out. There is a starving WW2 pacific naval combat audience out there, and its not looking toward pacific warplan to feed its hunger.

I'm worried it took you 120 hours to decide this. Game is actually very good.

It looks like the reply was cut off. I would have looked at the rest of his comment to see if this was explained further.
