I've been grieving sin all my life. Oh the pain I have caused God,. Family, and friends in the past. My brokenness is ever before me. I do believe that God is doing a good work in me. But I'm in constant repentance. Oh the day that I can shed this body of death. What a wretched man I am. But I thank God I'm not the man I used to be.

Let go of the shame and guilt to Jesus. He did not forgive you to remain guilty

Br. It’s not remembering or forgetting sin, it’s what you permit the memory to do! Does it cause joy
because you know your forgiven or despondency because God forgave U but U won’t forgive yourself?

After receiving The Holy Spirit we receive one other thing. PTSD of or sins, judgment for our sins for God judges his church first. As well as a baptism of fire through the Bantu sin itself. An ever constant judgement of self.
    Ezekiel 36:31-32
31.) Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.
32.) Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

Guilt and fear is what Christianity has to offer.

The world offer a false sense of security. It offers worthless filth and wickedness.
      Christ offers redemption through faith.

@@crossdriven The overwhelming majority of Christians are victims of something akin to the Stockholm syndrome where the victim develops positive feelings or even love for the abuser or oppressor.
It’s technically an emotional defense coping mechanism. Victims pass on the fear and guilt that ensnared them, entrapping new victims (converts) utilizing the brain washing process known as evangelism, or “sharing the good news”. It has gone on for centuries.
All of the Abrahamic religions share the same issue.
Christianity “sales” (evangelism) are always presented by one or two angles. First, avoid a horrific, torturous eternity in hell. Second, gain the benefits of eternal life in a wonderful, amazing place full of gumdrops, ice cream, and rainbows that never end.
Guilt is the driver. You are horrible so you are going to hell, BUT, lucky for you there’s a god who loves you enough (the same one who already condemned you to horror) to give you all of this wonderful stuff forever and ever, BUT, if you decide to not love god uncoerced, then god will send you to hell. What says “unconditional love” better than that!?
Essentially this “god” Christians are taught about declares everyone guilty by default, deserving of an eternity of torment, but if you crawl like a little worm for it (this god), then the god will grant you life… and people love this god for that?! People don’t see how sick that is? That would be like an abused child loving his parents even more as soon as they stop beating him for a while, thanking them for not beating him even more than they did.
Guilt, guilt guilt. Everything is driven by the guilt and fear of disappointing or angering their god.
A human with that kind of “love” would be considered a maniacal, abusive, sadistic monster who we would try to keep behind bars.
The god of the Bible is a picture of the most emotional, needy little kid one can imagine.

The individuals who you described do not exist. They only exist in your mind. That is not verifiable evidence.
Your entire argument is one that was hastily put together without even doing your due diligence.
The God christians worship is one who is holy, righteous, merciful, and loving. We love God because He first loved us, by sending us his one and only Son. The Christian faith shares no similarities with Judaism and Islam. As both refer to Yahweh as a liar. Those who reject God's Son, reject God.
Eternal life is more than gumdrops, ice cream, and rainbows. This comment of yours stems from your imagination, it isn't backed by reality.
The message of the gospel is the forgiveness of sins through Christ by faith. Fear is only the concern of the unbeliever. As they remain under God's judgment. For believers Christ has paid off their debt in full. So God instead gives believers full assurance of salvation by faith. Those who reject God are in an abusive relationship. They are controlled by their own sins. One thing you did point out is the pride evident in all unbelievers..they love their sin more than they love God. So God rejects them, instead of humbling yourself before God...you express your hatred for Him as you travel along the broad road, filled with distractions to keep you from discovering the truth.
Basically your entire argument is an exercise in question begging.....

NO. NO NO NO NO. A thousand times NO! Look, I like Voddie, but this ain't Gospel. Psalm 51 ain't New Covenant. Hebrews says the blood of Christ cleanses even my conscience. Sorry, I don't care who the preacher is. This is not true! Yes, I have been completely broken over my sin. But I don't live with the memory of my sin. I have been crucified with christ. I died to sin and have been raised with him. I have put off the old man, which includes the memory of my sin. And I have put on the new man which is created in rightsoeusness and true holiness. Yes there may be a season where we remember our sin and what we have done to people , but we are not to live there. I'm sorry king david in psalm 51 is not our example. David's Son is and he has washed us clean we ARE new creations in Him.

He is not saying that we live in the memory of our sin. He is saying that us being able to remember our sin in the days of our unbelief should stand as a testament as to where God brought us from. In some instances this is helpful because some people choose to completely forget the person who they once were and look down on those who are struggling with the same sins they once had.
