I mean, he sympathized with the souls of the mortals. Knowing many died thanks to the greed or selfishness of the other gods might be a good reason, he got tired of their bs and just making his work more and more exausting.

But she also wants better for the mortals getting rid of the other Gods, so humans don't get exposed to unnecessary wars that cause nothing but death and suffering. That's the reason she designed this whole plan which currently failed and backfired and she is trying to fix.
And well, Hades fully supports her since he also wants a better life for the mortals.

@@papaoso8340 It's actually quite interesting :) you can find it on the game's wiki and with every new chapter they add a new Lore chapter too, you can even read the current ones in-game (the little book at the left corner on the event)
As a Hades main, this is not how Hades is in actual mythology. He was probably one of the fairest and just gods in Greek mythos.

When against the Old Ones, your best bet is to side with anyone and everyone who isn't related to the Old Ones or the Outer Gods
If i had a say in this id make Cthulhu wake up as a consequence of ragnarok and he would play the roll of destroyer of everything
And id make a small plot line with ares since he did have a big part to do with it i would make ares go on a quest to try and stop Cthulhu by making his Godslayer skin cannon (i just love that consent of a great power at a greater cost and its something that makse senses giving the situation i set up and lends itself to make ares get some nice character development)
Cthulhu is a nihilist, he views the gods and the mortals the same, as insignificant tiny specs of being, that have no true meaning or role to the grand scheme of things. He doesn't need to pick a side because ultimately nothing really matters to him. The only thing that is true is chaos and madness.

I wish Anubis could clear his name.
The game needs a solo/co-op/multiplayer story mode, they could use this to get started and maybe update it as it goes along. That is, if it doesn’t already exist and I’m just stupid and can’t find it. It should also be replay-able and players should be able to pick what Gods (especially being able to use owned skins) they wish to play as in story mode, or it could have a story mode and free play mode set up where it forces you to play as certain characters in certain levels in regular story mode, and then anyone you want in free play mode.
The game would then be perfect, the only thing they’d need to do is give it updates and new gods every now and then like they usually do.
Right Story Mode Is Perfect For This Game
The (currently) three-part story found in the Odyssey would make a perfect plot for a story.
And it shouldn’t require a constant internet connection to play, I’ve been having network connection problems with this game and it sucks to not know if your team is losing while you try to get reconnected. You may not even get reconnected in time, too. I never quit, and I only agree to surrender if I don’t have much time to do some more gaming... I’ve got responsibilities, just like most people do.
But a job... is something I don’t have, and I’m not being very responsible with the money that’s supposed to help get my autistic and disabled butt ready for life, and with what’s going on in the world, the only career choice I can really (attempt to) handle is being a streamer. But I’m not very social- let’s see, how do I word this?....

It feels like Hades had enough. He had enpugh of his younger brothers and their spawns idioticy and same goes for the mortals. That everything is just shit and it's better when everything is dead. That means silence and harmony. And with ragnarok you just don't destroy the world. You restart it and can choose which one can live and which god can stay dead.
This and Hera was still hidden in Olympus depths. she just appeared in the afterwar of Ragnarok 😂😂😂

realistically if ragnorok came to olympus the greek gods would easily deal with it, the high end feats of the norse gods in mythology are generally around the world tree that at best is damaged, and fenrir eats everything
meanwhile in the high end of greek mythology is: speeds surpassing light that fills all of reality all at once (mercury and appolo respectively) stated to be able to destroy all of reality (zeus) holding up all of existence for all of eternity (atlas) the harpies of fate, having control of fate.

Its possible that the other pantheons can know knowledge of others. Or they all started in the same place at creation so they know the pathes of the others.

Why the hell is Ares so powerful in smite? In the illid he Aphrodite were defeated and mortally wounded by a mortal named Diomedes amped by his sister.
Ares is shown as weak in most Hellenic myths, as the stories were written down by Athenians, who disliked Sparta, worshippers of Ares. Therefore Ares was written as cowardly and weak as a form of propaganda.

No. Ares is god of war. That inevitably puts him in bad positions. Athena is wisdom so she would likely be at odds most of the time with her brother. If no one believed in them they would never have existed same with jesus and the rest.

Also, the anthropocentric notion that gods are only as strong as the faith poured in them is not found anywhere in classic mythology. Even if you don't believe in any god or that in real life the gods are dependent on belief due to them being stories made by humans, this only applies to real life. This is SMITE, a work of fiction, where gods 100%, unequivocally exist, why do we still use this humanistic ideal on the gods?

I say all this because the gods used in SMITE are much, much more complex and powerful than their modern depictions.

Athena is the main protagonist who alarms everyone and bring everyone around her. She saves Ra, Odin and many other skyfathers who shouldnt need her to be saved at the first place.
