Inspector Clouseau was the name of the detective played by Peter Sellers in all of Blake Edwards' Pink Panther films. Inspector Clouseau, the movie, was made in 1968 after The Pink Panther and A Shot In The Dark but without Blake Edwards directing or Peter Sellers acting. Alan Arkin was hired to play the bumbling inspector for this film which did not go over nearly as well as the previous two. I liked it when I first saw it as a kid, but haven't watched it again since I saw it on TV all those years ago.
