Nice! I was on the fence about buying this expensive piece of glass, but after seeing the video I see a lot went into making this worth the money Yamaha engineers did well with this fit and finish is impressive!
Great video and much appreciated. I'm trying decide on which windshield to go with on my new XTR and this video helped make my decision. Although I am concerned that it is not vented.
Nice video install man! It's going to help out a lot of people I have the feeling. Even though people might not like the wiper being at top and having the drips go down, I feel like this will keep the mud from collecting if the wiper was at the bottom.
Hey BarnStangz thanx for commenting, got some test time in and yeah the wiper does drip down. I didn’t get into mud but I did get some snow sand mix and the dual spray and large blade took it right off. Visibility is amazing, I’m sure that mounting the wiper unit on the bottom would have impacted that and caused issues with access to navigation.
@@thenotoriousgib365 Thanks for the heads up, yeah man, the OEM windshield is the best for sure! I'm going to have to get one at some point, but the OEM poly has been serving me well so far.
@@thenotoriousgib365 I'm waiting for 2023 to pull the trigger on the Ltd 4 seater. I'm building out a property in California this summer and prioritizing funds. Please keep sharing. Thanks.
good vid, but I have been wrenching for 37 years, how can you wear those gloves?? 8:11 seconds explains what I am talking about. I had a glass Yamaha in my X4 and loved it, got an RMAX now and went plastic, b/c it was just too dam hot in the summer not being able to open it up. Another thing was the Yamaha heater wasn't good enough to defrost the windshield
By far the nicest windshield for the Rmax. Thanks for video

Thanx for commenting Adam, trust me you won’t be disappointed! I will be posting it up in full snow action this weekend, the wiper is amazing!

I didn’t want to mess up my manicure! Actually it was 16 degrees in my old man’s garage and anything was helping to hold in heat!
