Great video, thank you! It's funny they put in all the effort for these, but they still couldn't get the pit operations correct. The tire wear indicator goes to full when it gets swapped, but the tire type remains until you leave the pit. - if you swap an RH tire to RM, it will show RH and only switch to RM when you're out. The actual surface of the tire also don't change. Racing tires have smooth surface, wet tires have grooves, but the new tire they put on will always show the same type of surface visually as the previous. 🤷
I think i noticed a difference in the amount of spectators in the crowd depending on the event you do. For example if you're in a time trial the crowd is small but for larger events the crowd gets larger. Pretty cool you should check it out im not too sure but definitely give it a look
You're absolutely correct with this one, depending on certain events such as time trials or championship events the amount of spectators will change, I assumed a most people knew this but I might have to sneak it in the second video now👀

GT is the only car game that recreates car backfiring perfectly!!!! That also lights up the rear of the car in the dark if I remember!!! This IS SUCH a HUGE DETAIL that other car games namely Forza fails to do and is SO blatantly obvious and effective when its missing compared to when a game gets it right! Forzas is a stiff canned animation i think, i dont know the proper term for it.... Tons of videos of GT's cars backfiring in sync with the sound! GT's backfiring is flashes, pops and explosions! Forza's in comparison is like the same stiff rocket flame that doesnt react to direction of car travel and totally reminds you its a game
On Brands Hatch (and presumably other places as well), if you are watching a replay and you fo to take a photo at the end of the start/finish straight, on the left after the grandstand, all the spectators are fixed except for one, who looks at the camera no matter where you place it
The shifting gear animation is nice, however the driver does not press the clutch with his foot. GT4 had this....xD Also, the pitstops animations are amazing....though they cant seem to bother to update it to actually show the correct tire you are switching for.
i wouldnt say they cant be bothered..... if its all in a previous game then my inclination would be that they obviously want to implement it as PD are known for painstaking detail and obsession.... but rather like ALL their other assets, it will definitely take time to implement and update to current standards..... and these are the minor touches we're talking about that most people overlook Obviously everybody wants PD to implement new tracks and cars etc so obviously the resources are how do we divvy up our studio into the minor details vs major changes etc... GT is getting there too! just give it till GT8 / GT9 / PS6 / PS6 Pro LOL
But then they overlook that you count the time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife Tourstenfahrten from Bridge to Gantry... In order to make times on that track configuration in GT7 you would need to rush through the exit, entry gates and back onto the track - something you should never encourage at all :P
Heres a cool one for a future vid- interiors have different colors in onlike versus modes. Did a 2p race with treunos and one interior was red and the other was blue
The little things people are talking about no.963... The R32 Nismo has a warning buzzer when you exceed 70mph... BUT they couldn't be bothered to set the suspension up properly 🤔. Drive on a test at slow speed in 5th gear creep over 70(112kmh) & beep, beep, beep 😮. Priorities PD 🤦
In regards to the aphela, my 2024 type r has the same thing, if my lights are on then the lights turn on in the hud, same goes for indicators, brakes and rear lights
Interestingly in GT7 I have a habit of poping up pop up headlights when braking lol, and i never stopped to think if this matters in the game, now i know 😊 But it probably don't help much when braking cause the car is never going that fast, and pop up headlights don't have the effects of a big spoiler lol😅
I hate gt7 online (absolutely love the game though) every time I try online I get rammed off road and I'm always getting the penalties. It's ridiculous, sometimes I'll brake for a corner and get rear ended and I get penalized for brake checking. I can't stand it, no matter how good I try and drive I keep getting penalized for others hitting me. I wish they'd find a better way to do online. Like have car damage that requires pay to fix. (In game pay) Then maybe people would be more cautious. They aren't going to ram me if it costs a quarter mil to fix their supercar.
The sound is the least impressive thing here, although that has been the single biggest criticism of the entire Gran Turismo series and it has improved exponentially in GT7. The engine note is just from the car that engine came from. What it should do though is change with the different exhaust systems and/or camshafts (and possibly the induction noise from the intake). This is obviously a step above and may be a natural progression that I hope to maybe by GT8. They would need to sample at least one other version for each engine except for the actual race cars. What is surprising though is that there is more than one 4 rotor sound bite. The R26B 787B sound is different from the LM55 and RX-Vision. So it is not outside the realm of expectations either.
So tell me... Why, when I have a Stage 5 weight reduction, but still have a full interior? Or get the carbo drieshaft, but the weight of my car doesnt change? Lol
The one thing I've noticed with the wind and weather is that they never correspond. The wind is going north to south and the rain comes from the southwest or the east or some other random direction. They still haven't set those to the same parameters.
Biggest problem to me is, no itbs, no induction noise on the cars and the sounds are kinda bad on some cars... and we are severely lacking a touge track idk why they dont do it
4 details I noticed (in VR):
1. In some cars (mostly old timers) you can see your own reflection/helmet on glossy surfaces of the interior.
2. Some cars (I assume without AC) have the driver window down on a hot sunny day.

4. If its raining and the wind turns direction, the rain follows.
All these details feel incredibly immersive in VR.

Yeah the steering looks so unresponding
Using motion controls on the controller or a wheel makes the steering way better since it visually syncs up with your inputs
The Mitsubishi GTO's rear spoiler is also active.
Absolutely incredible! Thank you! I follow gladly!😊
Also the gto spoiler is a air brake if I remember correctly
The Suzuki Escudo tuned to 700pp can race on Racing Hards at Le Mans WTC but can't on Inters and Wets. This bugs me to no end.
That gear change animation is pretty good. I wasnt even thinking about it when playing GT7. I should have taken more attention to it.
They need to work on the manual shifting it's way to slow. It's in tune with the paddle shifting
I think i noticed a difference in the amount of spectators in the crowd depending on the event you do. For example if you're in a time trial the crowd is small but for larger events the crowd gets larger. Pretty cool you should check it out im not too sure but definitely give it a look
You're absolutely correct with this one, depending on certain events such as time trials or championship events the amount of spectators will change, I assumed a most people knew this but I might have to sneak it in the second video now👀
@naffantait you should !
Thanks for showing us !
Thanks for posting. Amazing. I've been playing the game since #1.
Amazing details. Beautiful game in so many ways
The craziest fact was the tires deforming
"The best or nothing " by Kaz's standards

Warning: The "Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi '71 (1971)", actually this car is already in the Gran Turismo series, made its first appearance in Gran Turismo 2, with the name: "Plymouth Road Runner '71 (1971)". When they add this car to Gran Turismo 7 in a future update, they will name it: "Plymouth GTX 426 Hemi '71 (1971)". This would be one of the cars that could return to Gran Turismo 7 after a long absence from the series.
And also when they add the "Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z '90 (1990)" and the "Pontiac GTO '65 (1965)", they would replace these two cars that appeared in the previous games in the series:
Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z Concept '88 (1988)
Pontiac Tempest Le Mans GTO '64 (1964)
And I also want you to add and design 3 Vision Gran Turismo prototypes from the brands: Alfa Romeo, Ford and Tesla; but with names like this:
Alfa Romeo Vision Gran Turismo
Ford Vision Gran Turismo
Tesla Vision Gran Turismo
All this information has to be read, seen and known by Kazunori Yamauchi and Polyphony Digital, since they are the creators of the Gran Turismo series and they must take care of this matter. I already said it, I will not repeat it again. Keep this in mind forever and never ever forget it.
On Brands Hatch (and presumably other places as well), if you are watching a replay and you fo to take a photo at the end of the start/finish straight, on the left after the grandstand, all the spectators are fixed except for one, who looks at the camera no matter where you place it
Keep them coming, great work
These Details are INSANE. Wow.
The shifting gear animation is nice, however the driver does not press the clutch with his foot. GT4 had this....xD
Also, the pitstops animations are amazing....though they cant seem to bother to update it to actually show the correct tire you are switching for.
i wouldnt say they cant be bothered..... if its all in a previous game then my inclination would be that they obviously want to implement it as PD are known for painstaking detail and obsession.... but rather like ALL their other assets, it will definitely take time to implement and update to current standards..... and these are the minor touches we're talking about that most people overlook
Obviously everybody wants PD to implement new tracks and cars etc so obviously the resources are how do we divvy up our studio into the minor details vs major changes etc...
GT is getting there too! just give it till GT8 / GT9 / PS6 / PS6 Pro LOL
Did you check this with a standard transmission as opposed to a fully customisable racing transmission and in several cars?
But then they overlook that you count the time on the Nürburgring Nordschleife Tourstenfahrten from Bridge to Gantry...
In order to make times on that track configuration in GT7 you would need to rush through the exit, entry gates and back onto the track - something you should never encourage at all :P
Heres a cool one for a future vid- interiors have different colors in onlike versus modes. Did a 2p race with treunos and one interior was red and the other was blue
Did the cars have liveries on? There are a lot of cars that change interior colour with their stock exterior paint.
@Catcrumbs not that i recall but its been awhile so im not sure! Now that you mention it- i would like to check when i get hone
I never knew any of this, makes me love the game even more now. Kinda a hidden appreciation for how far they go to give us a real experience
A spectators wearing ponchos while raining weather? Wow this is just like in Motogp Mandalika Indonesia!
Lol the Mars detail is genius
Playing the weekly at Daytona this week, the flags sometimes blow the opposite direction. Lol
Im new.. and not a good driver “yet” … i wiped on a corner and the people on the side line actually we’re partying .. thought that was wild
In regards to the aphela, my 2024 type r has the same thing, if my lights are on then the lights turn on in the hud, same goes for indicators, brakes and rear lights
I love watching the tear change when in psvr2
Interestingly in GT7 I have a habit of poping up pop up headlights when braking lol, and i never stopped to think if this matters in the game, now i know 😊
But it probably don't help much when braking cause the car is never going that fast, and pop up headlights don't have the effects of a big spoiler lol😅
With the gearshift video you can see the pedalwork too. Left foot braking 🎉
Good call!
Was this on the PS5? Thanks. Great video.
Sure was
The different engine sounds are an amazing touch.
Are these all in Forsa as well? Not having an Xbox, I personally don’t know.
Some details are in Forza but a lot is just static in that game unfortunately
Can we take a moment to appreciate that the cars with a fuel economy needle actually functions and aren’t static like in Forza? 😄
Fuel economy and autonomy displays are functional one many cars
Turbo and oil pressure gages too
turbo and is a given tho.
Was it because of the swap that the Silvia became also heavier with the NISMO Engine?
Great video once again! Love all the tiny details. I like the marbles (rubber bits from tires) that are left on the track at the corners.
2:37 also ambient lights is working on this car
I enjoyed the video, though I felt the music was abit too loud. ☮
Thanks! I'll tweak the audio levels next time👌🏻
If they drop a crazy GT7 VR updated I’m not leaving the house for weeks
I wish the cars sounded like the startup sounds
I hate gt7 online (absolutely love the game though) every time I try online I get rammed off road and I'm always getting the penalties. It's ridiculous, sometimes I'll brake for a corner and get rear ended and I get penalized for brake checking. I can't stand it, no matter how good I try and drive I keep getting penalized for others hitting me. I wish they'd find a better way to do online. Like have car damage that requires pay to fix. (In game pay) Then maybe people would be more cautious. They aren't going to ram me if it costs a quarter mil to fix their supercar.
Yes but the in game car sound is not the same like 5:00
Probably why we don't have damage physics in gran turismo
When you vtec engine swap the eg civic the decal changes from sir to vtec
Pontiac Trans Am has tire graphics in white when in sport tire sets
aero - "yes it's there (i just didnt bother to show footage of it)"
The sound is the least impressive thing here, although that has been the single biggest criticism of the entire Gran Turismo series and it has improved exponentially in GT7.
The only thing i hate in this game is that it doesn't leave tyre marks on asphalt 😬
If you can't hear the beeping you are a psychopath. Gtr nismo 90😂
New vid just as I finish up at work?
SIUUUUUUUUUUUUU ❤
new track ❌
konegseg ❌
5 different evos ✅
wind sock ✅
Why they don’t have tire size like we should be able to pick the size tire we want in the width 0:28 0:29
Quality over quantity
GT GAMES ARE IT!😊
Cries in tyre pressures 😂😂
So tell me...
Why, when I have a Stage 5 weight reduction, but still have a full interior?
Or get the carbo drieshaft, but the weight of my car doesnt change?
Lol
1 thing i noticed is that you HAVE 70,000,000
one major detail: the tyre physics, no like the actual physics
when turning a corner you can see the rubber sort of stretching on the rim
❤
Spa circuit is way out of date with cafe and stands and spectator areas
Thanks for these vids
Thumbs up for Tesla model 3 being the worst cars in the game!
The one thing I've noticed with the wind and weather is that they never correspond. The wind is going north to south and the rain comes from the southwest or the east or some other random direction. They still haven't set those to the same parameters.
Same tree patterns! Next gen my ass
Model 3 is far from bei g bad let alone being on category of worst cars in the game. Only issue is energy consumption but the performance is good
👍🏿
They are skimping on the pit animation. Cars magically disappears into the pit. They should fix this.
Wha? No they don't
@som3body3 yes they do, it also happens when entering. Project cars made the continuous pits animation
Haaaaa ok, I get it, my bad.
Too bad only in showrooms the tesselation on cars are used but in gameplay interior looks very low polys
Polyfony weet 2 mutch for real races cars not kiding cars from pl4 lozer real race cars from real 5:39
Yo someone show this to a Forza player 😂
I want mooooore
Biggest problem to me is, no itbs, no induction noise on the cars and the sounds are kinda bad on some cars... and we are severely lacking a touge track idk why they dont do it
Where is the cat ?
