You're only capturing 40% of the experience with cockpit view. That's why most people play hood cam. VR however, would give you a much more complete experience, and rival the hood cam.

Psvr2 is definitely the most complete GT7 experience. I’m not great in cockpit cam because I can’t judge distance to the apex. VR totally solves that problem. Highly recommended, especially if it goes on sale again.

@@GhostOfBraznonAbsolutely don’t let it interfere with ur studies, but if it goes on sale for $350 again, don’t miss out on the experience if it’s affordable to u. I haven’t had a single moment of buyer’s remorse. Take a go cart around ur favorite track to admire the details you’ve always passed too quickly to appreciate. U can thank me later.
I’ve been using bumper cam since I was 7. My biggest complaint with interior views is truly personal; I get distracted. If there was just a dash view where the steering wheel was out of the way but I can see the gauges still, it would work better for me.
Honestly I’ve been playing a bit more and yeah it’s kinda distracting there needs to be a dash view or a better interior like Iracing I 100% agree with you
You don't use optimal lines at Suzuka (use all the track) and stability control makes you understeer. Majority of A+ drivers uses hood or bumper cam. World Tour drivers bumper (you have the rpm and virtual mirror). Look Digit, Coque Lopez, Tyranno Cyrus Rex stream if you want an example.

i use cockpit because for some reason i can see what the back of the car is doing better and I know if I'm about to lose control better.
This is so fax for some reason it’s easier to recover the car!
I got spoiled on cockpit cam from ACC, if only GT7 had the same settings for it asACC I would use it more. Good content bro

what Driver rating are you and what wheel do you use
I’m C rating, and I’m using the t248 it’s a really good wheel for the price and also works great with iRacing1
@@GhostOfBraznon Nice im also C rated but I use a thrustmaster t150 and t3pa pedals so very similar

@@GhostOfBraznon ive had it for 3years now and it’s served me well but the initial pedals with it broke so I upgraded to the t3pa which are much better but I might upgrade my wheel in the next year or so. How long have you had your setup and is it your first?
My setup I’ve had since the gran turismo movie funny enough 😭 bought the wheels and pedals right after watching that movie and yeah they are good since the brake pedals are loaded which helps me with trail braking and yes first setup ever!
