My new Civic also has Homelink in the rear-view mirror, so it's basically the same as an RS3, right? 😃 I love how Kiddo's already so jaded about your, um, spirited driving, especially compared to Evie. I'd be curious to see what it's like when you teach her how to drive in a few years!
Just minor quibble with the info provided. Unfortunately they did away with the carbon ceramic brakes and increased top speed limiter that was also available with those brakes. Not available in 2024. It may have been available in 2023 I am not sure.
If they had a wagon variant of this car I’d trade in my GTI in a heartbeat. It’s a lot of fun and practical but I think I’d love what a wagon RS3 would provide over going to a Golf R for similar features. A bit more passenger space and cargo space without getting too big.
I remember years ago there used to be an ad in the back of European Car magazine where you could order a German car, pick it up at the factory and import it into the US ONLY if it had I think 500 miles(maybe 5000) and it had to have been in Europe for 6 months min. before it could be imported. I’m sure it was stupid expensive to do so and not sure having the RS3 hatchback over the sedan…
I love the car videos over all the SUV videos, but I understand those get the views for people looking to buy something. 🖖 Hope you all are still having a blast making these as a family. Have a good one!
Micah, just going to throw out some praise that the cars you review have some variety. More than a few TH-camrs just post about Kia/Hyundai and maybe a few other things. Or it's CUV hell. In the past year or so, I've watched the Plaid, the Lightning, Some SUVs, a Mustang, etc. Thanks for throwing some variety into what you test. (My daughter loves yellow - i'm not showing her this... 🙂)
Beautiful car👍Excellent work 😎 The Dad Fast Level on this is substantially higher, like a Mach 3 razor 🪒 to a fusion 5-blade, don’t have to have it but I want it!
@@mikedavern2155One of the best drivetrains. Dont confuse the RS3 5 cylinder with VW Jetta 5 cylinder. Polar opposite. The RS3 engine cost 10k more than a whole new Jetta.
Does the A3 have any of the S3's ability to send torque to the rear? If it does, I'd be tempted to get a high trim A3 and just hit it with an ECU tune.
Sorry it’s ugly when I was going to buy a new car it was between amg a45s and this one rs3 and I went for the amg interior is much better in the amg and the design of the rs3 is just awful nothing special to look at the the steering wheel what is that all about not my sort of a car and I love rs3 but not this generation
Show me one RS3 that breaks down all the time. Lots of us with high miles on them with no issues. All tuned too. I’ve had over 120 vehicles in 51 years. My RS3 has been one of my favorite daily drivers. It’s an 18 with 115k. I pound it hard every day. I had way more issues with both of my Lexus’s at 78k and 91k miles. RS3 is Audis most reliable vehicle. 100 percent of us owners can all agree.
@@jaxripper251 I belong to every Audi group worldwide. I own a few. One is an 18 RS3 with no issues. Go show me issues with RS3’s. I bet you drive a Honda. You have zero knowledge.
Yes. Brian test. I love the Brian test.
Another thing I would recommend:
The Practical Panda Test -> historical reliability and resale value!
The Brian Test is a great idea. As a variant, and because she's always a good sport, see if Kiddo can figure out how to open the hood.
I have a 2019 RS3. And I love it!
The family is definitely have lots of fun this week. Hope there was plenty of launch control fun haha. And yes continue to show under the hood!
Evie is basically how my wife was when she tried out my EV6 GT; lots of smiles, but definitely did not like the speed. More zip for me then! 😂

CT4 blackwing is another competitor for this car
It is a happy family!
Great family video. Unfortunately we can not get this car here in Canada therefore I bought a new M2 which is my first Bimmer.
I like it, planning to get a new RS3 in about a year
Early congrats! The RS 3 is a sweet ride.
@@MicahMuzio thanks, always wanted one.

I’m okay with yellow but I wish it was a little darker. Great review. I agree the 5 cylinder is the beans. Worth the money. And sound.
Is there a wagon variant?
I'm short on the 100K needed
for the RS6 Avant...but want a wagon 🤔
Some have swapped the RS3 motor into a Golf R.
so good but if they could just make the backseat 2 to 4 inches longer

Fantastic video guys!

Before we know it, kiddo will be behind the wheel doing launch control!
If this car gets new Porsche 911 hybrid setup. It would make this car more fun.
I've never seen Evie more terrified of a car hahaha. And yes, please continue the Brian Test.
Please review the RS5 soon.
This is my dream car!
Yes, keep doing the Brian test! Thanks for the video!
You got it!
I love watching your wife and daughter cringe every time the road was twisty. The lateral g’s you feel from sports cars like these is unnerving.

Evie with the reluctant launch control lol that car has some pop.
Happy Sunday!
Can that car be spec’d without the sunroof ?
I think I'd like it better if it were a hatchback. The sedan trunk does strike me as limiting from a practical daily standpoint.
This would be a fun start to a Evie launch control compilation video 😎
Still no remote start is mind boggling for the price. Its my only gripe, and i have one.
I really want this as a hatch
very good family perspective which is rear
Ha ha ha, loving the Brian segment!
Beautiful car!
That rear end looks like a Kia Forte Gt-line. If you dont believe me, go look for yourself!!!
Looks a little small for the Muzio family, need that SUV.
I think that's a single or newly married person's vehicle!
Beautiful car👍Excellent work 😎
The Dad Fast Level on this is substantially higher, like a Mach 3 razor 🪒 to a fusion 5-blade, don’t have to have it but I want it!
I'd buy one if they brought the hatch over to the US
How tall are you? (relative to backseat)
glossy black plastic in eye blasting danger zones should be a punishable offense
This looks like a mix of the Golf GTI and the Jetta GLI.
That's basically what it is. With the 5 cylinder
Definitely nothing to with a with Jetta.

I watch every review video your family makes! the sound on this video is muffled compared to all your other videos.
The RS3 is still an amazing vehicle only faulted by its horrendous front grill and rear bumper design…and no manual option.
Does the A3 have any of the S3's ability to send torque to the rear? If it does, I'd be tempted to get a high trim A3 and just hit it with an ECU tune.
Too bad we don't get the 5 door...
Awesome, now do the Audi A5 Sportback!
This in hatch form please - for North America.
Haha, the Evie meter was pegged on this review. And in the wrong direction....;D
The Mrs. didn’t look happy with this car.
Do you only drive electric?
The RS3 is NOT an EV.

I have one in my driveway that needs gas.
😂 look at how your wife grips that handle for dear life @ 7:18 😅
Needs yellow accents and stitching on the seats
I give a Hugh five to that review. Now bring this car to Canada so this Hoser can drive one. Take off Eh!🥶
What about the window test? 😢
They did test the rear windows and they went almost all the way down 3:02
@@Eli.347 I musta missed it 🤣
Poor Evie, she looks so disinterested, as he continues to blab on and on and on. And no heated steering wheel on any A3/S3.

No they not 400hp they 415hp and 540nm of torque when u put these on dyno
