This is such an amazing car for the value. I used to drive a 2014 VW Jetta GLI Edition 30. I notice a strong resemblance in size and finishes. The power upgrade in the RS would be so much fun. The major downside is the low profile tires. Driving this even under 10k miles per year, the flat tires get super exhausting.

Loving the showroom color they chose too! That limeish green is sick.
first and only video that i swear to god you sound cracked out as hell. and that's going far for me. what the hell doug
Now this is what I’m talking about!
I do NOT understand why Audi will not sell the hatch in the U.S. I get that wagons don't sell well here, yet Audi gives us the Avant of the larger models... BUT, we do like hatchbacks, and this one looks GREAT. Such a shame, as the sedan looks very ordinary in comparison. 😐
"We" the people who like hatchbacks and wagons are not the majority sadly. What's ironic though is that us americans seem to love crossovers and suvs, which in my opinion look worse than both sedans and hatches.
I suspect the reason is because SUVs dominate the US market. Any variance of the same model would just be competing with itself.
Subaru stopped selling the Hatch too and it saddens me because I love hatchbacks and I’m not really into GTIs and don’t have money to go up to Golf R territory nobody makes cool hatchbacks anymore beside the GR Corrola and that things gonna be selling for 45k+ easily.
@@tamiwu0346 I just so happened to buy the last year (2018) Focus ST just before Ford announced their decision to stop making cars in the US
Love my RS3. Stage 1 and she does 0-60 in 2.74 on the street
Which tuning company ?
Damn thats quick
Doug the type of guy to break up with his girlfriend and still send her grandmother birthday cards
not funny, not original
This is such an amazing car for the value. I used to drive a 2014 VW Jetta GLI Edition 30. I notice a strong resemblance in size and finishes. The power upgrade in the RS would be so much fun. The major downside is the low profile tires. Driving this even under 10k miles per year, the flat tires get super exhausting.
I took a shot every time Doug talked about tossing or toss ability and I am fricking waste
I’ve been waiting for this review for a long long time! I love the RS3! 5cyl cars should be more common!
I agree with Doug on the size, I think it's quite the perfect toasable shape of sedan, now everything has grown..
Doug: Kayalami Green
Me: wow they named it after the grand prix circuit in my country (South Africa)🇿🇦❤
THAT IS SO COOL
im keeping my 2015 A3 Quattro..
i want one of these things!
My Mini Cooper S 2022 has this feature when you open the sunroof but close the shade.
Easily one of the best looking compact sedans out rn imo
They trying to beat BMW in the Battle of the Grills.
and this is obviously winning when comparing to the rabbit teeth
Considering Audi started it...
Kalymara (or however u spell it lol) green looks gorgeous on the RS3!
@Winardi Tama I'd love to know when I asked.
Funny how Doug keeps mentioning how small this car is, when in reality anywhere outside of America this car is average sized
I want one just because of the 5 cylinder. It sounds so amazing with a good sport exhaust.
This have huge grille too, but for some reason it doesn't look so stupid as huge grilles on BMW and Lexus cars...
it looks very stoopid
Still looks awful
I didn't say it looks good, i just thought it doesn't look so stupid as BMW and Lexus grilles...
Breaks my heart that we won't be getting a TT this generation😭
The fact that this is considered a "small" sedan says a lot about how big vehicles especially in north america have become
My wife has a corolla hatch which is pretty tiny, if this car is the same size I would call it small.
Americans: "The Chevy Tahoe is a baby SUV, tiny vehicle! Doesn't evem need 4 stairs to get in! Doesn't cast a shadow on your house!"
Cars get bigger and bigger and people get worse at driving… terrible combination.
Relative isn't it. It's a big car in the UK. Tiny in the US
Sounds like a good daily driver match for a GREEN Lamborghini Hurracan
You should review the King Ranch Explorer
This is a great sports sedan and I love the 5 cylinder. My only problem is it's around $70k with options. That's really up there
Lmao Jesus 70g? Holy shi that’s a lot of money for a Audi
Those 5 cylinders are becoming a legend
@@aidaaliten8817 what's with the random numbers
@@cheapspeed thank you. Wondering myself
Q: How much of the front end should look like grille?
A: Yes
Also that new volume button is dumb I like the old knob they had.
For those looking for comment the back end side view looks like a bmw styling
Looks like a fancier Jetta from the side. I think the previous gen looks better
I love that this car still uses physical AC buttons
Does this car have larger front tire widths than the rear tire widths? I always found that to be an interesting quirk of this front drive biased car.
It does, and a different type of AWD system now that is more rear biased than haldex
If I had unlimited funds, I'd take an Audi over a Bummer, er Bimmer, any day.
What's the difference between a BMW and a porcupine??
With a porcupine, the pricks are on the outside.
14:24 they should’ve put a trim on top of those sunroof components it’s not nice seeing that when u paid 60,000$+
I wish this powertrain was available on more models.
It is... RSQ3, TTRS.
Audi still got it with these designs
Idk about the grille but the rest is nice.
LoL
That bright green is freakin awesome! It's just a damn shame the hatchback won't be available in the U.S. (I actually like the way the hatchback styling looks better than the sedan) if the world is still around 20 years from now, I'll have to buy one when they become legal for import.
Audi has the sexiest design cues for people that love a wicked sharp looking car. That interior design is totally what most race-minded people would find appealing.
Mine is finally being built right now. It’s supposed to be here in about a month. It’s not the car for you if you’re not patient though. I put the deposit down in early March and won’t get it until November. Like everything now, it took forever
I love how the battery is centered for that extra tiny bit of balance
Doug is a type of a guy to fart in your wallet and afterwards say it's gas money
😆 🤣 😂
This as a wagon would be amazing
Audi rs6 avant
I wonder how bad Doug wanted to say the carpet matches the drapes when talking about the interior green accents.
I bet bad...lol
I like this but I love the RS3 Sportback, the hatchback variant
Same I wish we had it here the states! 😢
