    You're so cute, I always love how you do your video intros! I think it was about our sophomore year that we had our first UI/UX - focused assignment. We could choose between designing an app, or designing a controller for a toy car/airplane. I opted for the controller because I was used to designing "physical" products, but I really wish I had chosen the app, since it exercised our skills in a different way. I find that a lot of jobs out there, especially for the "A-Tier/ big-guns" companies like Google and Amazon value UI/UX designers, and in turn, other smaller companies follow suit. We're definitely moving fast into the digital world, which is great because more and more places will need designers! (of course, this isn't to say that traditional industrial design is shrinking at all!)

      Jake Knapp (the author of the design sprint) is coming over a couple weeks time to run a design sprint workshop. I will try and film that. :)

    Great video Jacob! I really appreciated the inside look into the sprint. What was the most difficult part of the sprint for you?

    • @myrinj
      @myrinj  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      The process while pretty intense is also very straightforward so there wasn't really one most difficult part. However, saying that the sketching part was probably the hardest.

    Very well done Jacob. Liked it a lot. But what happened to Dee? It looked like the first week of the Sprint left her with an injured chin. Anyway, looking forward to the next one. :)

      Fun story, she was riding home and her front wheel got caught in one of the tram tracks that are all over Berlin. She went over her handlebars and gashed her chin. It was rather impressive. She is fine now btw. :)

      Damn! I bet the folks running security cams rolled that back a couple of times. Glad to hear she's alright.
