Saw your reddit post earlier today; this is actually so sick. I've been wanting to make a custom mouse shell for about a year after getting tired of not having a mouse that feels comfortable in my hand. Hopefully I figure it out this summer, because it seems so cool to have a 1:1 shape

It's a very interesting mod tbh, it's just a little too expensive considering that for the price with shipping you can have an other x2v2 mini in good condition (74€ in europe without showing if there'll be any taxes).

Did you have to merge the front and back sides of the pcb in reality capture or did you get the entire model in one go? I've been trying to follow your process to capture the pcb for a g304 and have been failing miserably...

it's easy since pulsar used solid pcb for side buttons. But you will need to cut off some parts of it

Gpx is not easy to assemble. And I would like to improve it a bit more before requesting money for it. Maybe mod gpx2 next?

Yes, I would recommend using masks. There are some good tutorials that can explain it much better than me.
or you can try finding an existing mod file and copying it's mounting points into your own design
