I got all the dishes done a couple of times this week (instead of putting it off til the next day). Btw, I do not have a dishwasher. I AM the dishwasher. I'm also pregnant and have a toddler!
Big win: I’m disabled because of my chronic illness and I was able to go on a short walk (3 minutes) down the street and my joints didn’t hurt me days after!
I randomly decided to go watch this and I’m so glad I did because I didn’t realize that I actually needed all these reminders. So thank you! I’m giving myself permission to just do “nothing” and not feel the pressure to work on anything. Thank you!
Win, Time management so I can work in as many of the things I ENJOY doing, such as coloring, reading, walking on treadmill, making breakfast for my family. Choosing foods that nourish my body. Going to church. Small household chores. Keeping in touch with family members outside my home. I managed to do do ALL these things today. But honestly, doing simple things like walking barefoot through the grass and looking up at the moon, last night are SO fulfilling for me! It reminds me to not take for granted the many WONDERS in the natural world.
When you get tired or overwhelmed it can be natural to not want to do anything, but I honestly think doing one quick task will make you feel accomplished even if it is just doing dishes or putting laundry away. You are totally correct!
I believe there are the right circumstances for both. If the spell of discouragement comes from pushing yourself too hard for too long, allowing yourself to do absolutely nothing for a while is a great idea. But if you have been unmotivated for some time and can't find a breakthrough, the small accomplishment idea is the best!

The best thing that I did for myself is to uninstall my Facebook app on my phone. And for the past few weeks, I realize that I don’t need it! My life is ok without it. Now I did so much things each day without scrolling on my phone the whole day!
A win for this week…I allowed myself rest. Real R & R. My parents were both hospitalised with COVID; a very good friend passed away; school started and hence the mommy run started… So yesterday I communicated with my husband my need to rest and I did…. Took a long walk Gave myself a massage Made a lovely breakfast and laid a table outside and enjoyed it Spent most of the day outside at that very table in the sun reading Limited time on my phone The things that HAD to be done I did at a snails pace… It was such a good day…so refreshing and energizing ❤️ This is a win because I hardly ever give myself permission to have an “off-day”…

Little win... I picked some flowering coriander, lavendar and nastursiums and made the prettiest little bunch for my kitchen bench. This motivated me to clean up the kitchen.
My win is taking my sweet bunny to the vet and deciding at least for now to not have her have surgery. I also think that if you have a companion animal to pet, snuggle with, or get kisses from can also be a bit of self care or just bring a person joy.

I needed to watch this video. I just finished college on Friday and it's weird not being busy all the time. This weekend has been really hard, my family is gone and I feel so lonely and bored. My small accomplishment was painting my nails.

I was up and out by 6:30am this morning and walked to the beach (yes I’m lucky enough to do this) I then came home had my breakfast and cuppa and then done my Journalling (brain dumping as you said). Not to dump on them your negative energy of course, but to see what they're up to and soak up some energy from them as the extravert that you are 😊 I always try these sorts of tips Meghan's given, but nothing works as well as being around others to motivate me as an extravert myself 😊
