- This brand new Street version of the rather classic Kawasaki W800 is one I personally appreciate in all its details. The blacked out parts make it stand out even more from the crowd.

A billion W800 reviews out there but this is the first decent look at the Street version.
I have a Harley Springer Classic and want to downsize, the common route is RE Super Meteor but I found the engine a bit meh.
The "character" (vibration) of the W800 appeals more
The sound with stock pipes is perfect. Deep and throaty.
Deep throaty?
Kawasaki have done a fantastic job with the styling. It has progressed from something that didn't impress me in the early versions, but now with the blacked out engine cases, matte paint ... wow, this bike really touches the soul. Maybe I'm just getting older? I'm so glad it's an ongoing model, even if it's not a big seller (probably a good thing). I'm glad Kawasaki made a good thing better without some stupid bean counter taking off the market. Did I mention that I really love the black styling?
I love mine. Kawasaki rules.
Reliable, smooth, good handling, not a bad looker, gets you there, and back again, sort of bike for the end of days! Old fart, like me!
Beautiful bike. Love the sound of the pea shooter exhaust.
Hell yeah this bike is the class
Are these Kawasaki 800 W new? Because I heard they wasn’t selling them in this country anymore. How much are you selling them for?
I absolutely love this machine. I just wish it was a bit less expensive!
Hi can i ask which you would pick out of this W800 or Interceptor 650 or Super Meteor 650. Can i ask if there is much difference in power and comfort and i would be taking pillion also. 👍
If you're taking a pillion get the Super Meteor. The Kawasaki makes just about the same power but it's less agile then the Enfields. Suspension is way more plush though 👍
Would you recommend this as a first bike?
Yes I would 👍
Smooth
The way the throttle cable moves with the twist grip seems odd...
Yes I’d say if the clamp isn’t loose then why does it move?
Wish they offered this color scheme and version In the US
This or a triumph Bonny?
Depends on which Bonny!
How about the vibrations?
It was a dealbreaker for me
It's not for me I've gotta be honest. I appreciate it its character 👊
Retro bike needs retro music or just without any. 😉
🔥🔥🔥🔥
What brand is the fairing or wind screen on street model?
I'm pretty sure that's a Puig screen and fairing piece 🤔
It looks really good on the bike and for a second I thought it was stock.
Nice
Beautiful bike. Thinking about buying one. If it wasn't that underpowered!
Feels great; like a Norton twin. Don't like the muzak:(
The music is to scare the over 60 year olds away ::)
I'd buy one but all the color choices are terrible. Not paying all that money for a color I can't stand!
Super sound bike for everyone who want s a lifetime partner
They say the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is smoother

@@gmmotomedia thank you... Now please have Kawasaki USA to offer this variant. 🙂
It‘s in British.
48 hp on that big of an engine is something you expect from Royal Enfield not Kawasaki lol
Rating a bike solely on hp is what you expect from a non gear head / motorcyclist.
@@alexpascal5403 nailed it👍
Evaluate bore diameter, length of stroke, RPM and torque. Then check the design for potential riders. Performance enhancers are killing your motorcycle longevity. More is rarely better. What happens when you drive the speed limit mostly. Anything different not always a plus. In the Tool room we call it the “genius factor” think Wiley Coyote.
