DQ and A&W underrated food That burger looked 🔥for the price !! 🤟
Haven’t had DQ in almost 15 years but A&W is definitely super underrated, top 3 fast food burger in my humble opinion 🍔

A&W is DELISH!!! That place holds memories that are near and dear to my heart. My mom and dad used to take me there as a special occasion. Gotta love them footlong chili dogs!
When I was a lad, there was a Dairy Queen not far from where we lived. It was signed as a DQ Brazier. They did all sorts of hot food and this was in the 70's.
There were several places I remember back in Detroit but I think they're all gone now. There was a great place called The Soup House Kitchen not far away from the renaissance centre. The Stag's Head in Warren, Mountain Jacks in Troy.
You should do a stroll around Greek Town, back in my day, that was the safest area you could walk around.
If you're near Royal Oak, you could try the Sign of the Beef Carver. It was a chain that used to be called the Sign of the Beefeater but this is the last one going today.
If you venture into Warren, on 13 mile and Hoover there is an excellent doughnut store called Donut Castle. I used to go in there on the weekends as there was a place around the corner I'd go pick up my papers to deliver. There was this lovely big Italian mum type who I usually got served buy. She must have thought I need building up because I'd go in and get a bag full of broken doughnuts for the price of a single doughnut. It would take my entire time delivering newspapers to empty that bag and on a sunday, that's a long time.
I contacted them about a year ago and asked about the Mum and got a reply back from her daughter who runs it and she told me she's still alive and doing well.

They have a flamethrower burger that is more up your alley
Growing up in Oregon, Dairy Queen was a staple on drives to the beach. The burger was always delicious. Followed by the dip cone! and the peanut buster parfait?! Quit it!
DQ also has these 5$ meal deals that are pretty good. Their fries are surprisingly decent. I love their burgers.

Dq best fast food burgers. Try the flamethrower next. They just recently changed it up a bit and it’s not as good as it was. I personally do the quarter pound flamethrower no tomato extra sauce. Best burger. I’d easily trade all fast food for just dq for life. Chicken strips are the best too.
That is one of my go to DQ burgers. Solid move with the extra sauce.

The last time I tried a burger at DQ was about 15-20 years ago. It was in Richlandtown, PA, and I went inside to order. The place looked totally disorganized and there was a long line that didn’t move for 5 minutes, so I walked out, got in my car, pulled up to the drive thru, and got served immediately. I was so pissed off about having to do that, I forgot how the burger was. I believe that location has since gone out of business…

Our DQ in Walled Lake had hot dogs and footlong hot dogs. I’d get a footlong and a large vanilla cone dipped in chocolate dipped in sprinkles. I was a large child

DQ has been around since 1940 there are 6800 of them in the USA, Canada and 27 other countries. I love their half pound flamethrower burger it is DELICIOUS!
I went to junior prom with a friend who was from Stevensville (we did not go to Dairy Queen for dinner.)
I lived in Waterford, Michigan and there was a DQ and the end of my street on M-59. I remember that location had chili dogs and I remember in like 1984 or around there when the Blizzard was introduced. I'm pretty sure my brother subsisted on Reese's Pieces Blizzards for most of his teen years.
The dairy queens in my area have food but like I don't think it's dairy queen sanctioned food. I swear it's like corn dogs they bought in bulk at the Sam's club and grilled cheese and chicken tenders that look like public school lunch items. until recently they didn't even have the seasonal blizzards. There must be some weird franchise/licensing stuff going on with dairy queen.

Dairy Queen Honey mustard is A+ ❤ I don't get their burgers often as chicken tenders have a special place in my SOUL. But I will grab one next time!

I was eating some roasted chicken at a night job in South Dakota and my manager would always have a 2 for $5 DairyQueen burger combo to eat lmao. He said "2 for 5, cant beat that" lmao.
That burger looked legit! I had a mushroom and swiss burger from a DQ a while back and was shocked at how good it was!

Most big double bacon cheeseburgers at fast food restaurants in America are between $5-$8 now! Pretty crazy.
