For packing light, I LOVE this bag. While a bit tight for Mavic 3 Pro, it's perfect for Air 3!
-HINT: Remove the foam under Aircraft, then pack it butt down, TOP of drone towards you (latch side of bag) -it fits MUCH better, lower, and flap closes further with the drone less exposed and NOT resting on the gimbal cover. I use a Pro, half kilo carbon fiber tripod, held by 1 leg under the flap, DJI Mic, the NOT INCLUDED ND Filter Set, 4 batteries, folding landing pad in back pocket and Insta360 Flo gimbal, and hit the road!

Just a quickie Darren, had a flyaway Monday gone. Flew straight into a 40’ tree. I couldn’t do anything with being in a wheelchair. My grandson drove 70 miles the next day to try and get it but couldn’t. Got onto DJI by Wednesday and explained what happened. Had a new mini 3 pro from DJI packed and delivered by Friday just gone. How fantastic was DJI. From Wednesday telling DJI to Friday 10am delivery of a new one. A great big shout out to DJI. Fantastic service. ❤

I'd like to know, if you know for sure, where the drone actually goes in the bag, do we need to leave the fitted foam at the bottom where the gimbal cover fits into?
I would like for the top of the case to actually close all the way down instead of having that gap on the side. Just doesn't seem to fit well with it in there. I just don't know if that is in there just for shipping or, for everyday use.

IM THINKING OF UPGRADING from my mini 3pro to either the new Air 3 (wind resistance and ocusync4) or the mavic 3 classic. Ive watched your comparison on these but what are your thoughts on dji releasing a new mavic 3 with ocusync4 ? Have you heard any inside info on this? thanks Jon
Aren't there any sensors on the top of the drone (like the Mavic 3 has them)?
@DMProductions Question. 80mm is supposed to be optimal lens for portrait photography, how does the 70mm on the Air 3, look when used for portaits?

Ocusync 4, I'm guessing but this is going to be the new standard for DJI, so the RC 2 is more future proofed than the previous RC controller, So what is the benefit of the RC Pro controller over the RC 2 controller, or have DJI just made the RC Pro redundant?
How much does the bag weigh with everything in it?
Can a wireless mic be attached to this RC2 controller via the USB C port?

Hi Darren, as always excellent video. I have a question since the air three has two cameras does that mean when you use an ND filter you need a filter on both lenses thank you.
I believe the ND filters are a single piece covering both cameras.
@lieutenantdangle3128 The DJI branded set of filters are 2 pieces of glass in a frame that mimics the stock UV cover (all glass is uv) -they are not "split filters" (different strengths) even though THEY SHOULD be for different aperture cameras. Strange since the Mavic 3 Pro Filters are split; 2 dark, 1 light, with the light one being 2 stops less than the other 2 -its for the 7x/166mm equivalent Telephoto with a 3.4 Aperture. The 24mm Hasselblad and 70mm are both 2.8 aperture. Can't imagine why DJI didn't do a similar design with the Air 3 filters.

I use my Mini 3 Pro for photography. Seven mile range or whatever it is using the RC2 isn't necessary since I can't fly beyond visual range anyway. I want bigger sensors and adjustable aperture on any future drone purchase. The Mavic 3 Classic or Mavic 3 Pro has that and can fly with my existing RC controller. Plus the price of the Mavic 3 Classic Drone itself is the same or less expensive than Air 3 kits
Can you find for me a Mavic 3 for 1099€ like the Air3 please?
In Europe the least expensive Mavic3 Classic costs 1509€ WITHOUT controller… (50% more than the Air 3).
For the same cost of a Mavic 3 with controller you can have a Mini3 + Air3…
If you had to buy 1 drone, what would be your choice?

I think really, the wording should’ve said that it now has a three times optical telephoto because both cameras have digital zoom, not optical zoom. Just my opinion of how it should’ve been worded.
And there are the mini 4 pro

That's actually sucks that the screen still only has less than 800nit brightness, they should have improved it.
And what I didn't see was with the new drone - An upgrade to the DJI app, which rendered my P20Pro phone obsolete. So I had to get the RC2 separately .... Check is you're phone compatible ... Ladies and gents.
