Here is an interview recorded in 2000 with Mark Volman founding member of 60's hitmakers The Turtles recorded for my radio program Retrospectives in Melbourne, Australia on Casey Radio
Thank you for posting this interview.... I grew up listening to The Turtles and eventually entered the music business as a roadie for "The Strawberry Alarm Clock" from which I transitioned into a record engineer.
Enjoyed the interview. I managed my husband’s music career which did support our little family. The business of being in music is always evolving, which Mark emphasizes here. I remain a fan of The Turtles. ~ Clare Burrows
Mark has a wealth of experience with all aspects of music production for anyone who has a desire to pursue a commercial music experience. I still love their music, they way they harmonize and display the fun they had singing. This interview should have included short pieces of their popular work since so many younger people today are simply unaware of the range of their talent. Thanks for providing us with this interview video.
One of the most underrated musicians in history. Loved Flo and Eddie with and without Zappa.
Great interview and their work with Zappa is fantastic.
I am nearly finished with Kaylan's Shell Shocked book. I am so pleased to find this interview. There will never be another Flo and Eddie
