If the Void Astral Rebirth becomes the canon timeline continuing forward in the Kirby series, that would mean the butterfly becomes a canon interference in Kirby's adventures. Didn’t Galacta Knight return after Star Allies in Super Kirby Clash as Aeon Hero? We can see Aeon Hero is Super Kirby Clash, shows him being summoned by Parallel Nightmare than slaying Parallel Nightmare and appearing from shadows and light reveals him just like how Morpho Knight dissipates after being defeated in Star Allies As for his defeat animation in Super Kirby Clash, for the first round he just flies away. But for the Light version of Aeon Hero, he gets blown up as feathers come out of said explosion but this might be a stretch but for the Dark version of Aeon Hero I’m guessing the feathers come back to together to reform Aeon Hero and finally at the end Aeon Hero gets resealed in the same very crystal where he was sealed ages ago (Keep in mind haven’t read the pause screen descriptions yet for any of the Aeon Hero forms)

Here's how I decide what is Canon and what is not. Cases like meta knightmare/dedede tour/guest star in some cases i think are Canon for example in KSSU meta knight went out on a whole adventure to become the strongest so it wouldn't be out of the question to say who would go and fight whispy woods or even dedede (excluding when he destroyed his own ship) but what I considered the most Canon is the ending since most of the extra modes don't necessarily overlap with the Canon story i can most certainly see meta knight summoning galactic nova to wish to fight galactic knight so I usually use this tactic for every kirby game Except KRTDL and KPR the reason why is because with the former you fight GK in the true arena which in some way you could consider the fight Canon but its unknown as for the latter meta knightmare returns doesn't make sense for Canon because it completely overlaps the main story so maybe you could call it in "alternate universe" or something but aside from those I can definitely see in dedede tour the king make his way back to royal road and fighting shadow dedede and dark meta knight (excluding sectonia as it wouldn't make sense) and of course guest star mode in which I would only consider the fights with the mage sisters, hyness and morpho knight Canon because of how the story mode, the end of guest star and heroes in another dimension are all connected but who knows i would like to think galactic knight is Canon but we will have to see
when you beat meta knight in the game you get the meta knight sword blueprint and some abilities have 4 upgrades so if morpho knight is an enemy we probably get his sword blueprint

Well the game was released and we already know the answer, (This is a spoiler so stop reading if you don´t want to know) The butterfly appears on the post-game and absorbs the main enemy of the game turning into morpho knight again (the original boss doesn´t look like or is even related to galacta knight) and this time is part of the main story so first of all looks like morpho knight is just another form of the butterfly rather than some kind of fusion and second of all that butterfly is more important and powerful than we thought
I like the idea of having multiple Butterflies. Like what if Morpho Knight from this game is not the same one from Kirby Star Allies? Also I wanna point out that when you defeat Morpho Knight in this game, he kinda looks like Fecto Elfilis/Chaos Elfilis before he disappears by moving up. And Chaos Elfilis does look more like a butterfly/moth creature. And yeah maybe the butterflies were from this creature Fecto Elfilis. And gosh Elfilin is so kawaii!!

Galacta Knight and the Butterfly are both not evil. I read somewhere a while back that in an interview the Butterfly/Morpho Knight Judged/Absorbed Galacta Knight out of pity, allowing him to pass on and no longer be used as a sort of Gladiator in arenas. Admittedly, this came out before the game's release, so spoiler warning. The Butterfly is Morpho Knight. Here's a bit of info to explain why/how. Meta Knight's mask is used to protect his Ability, the Meta Ability for lack of a better term. So *Morph*o Knight's ability would be... to Morph. Between Butterfly and Knight. But it needs an insane amount of power to do so, hint why, so far, it only does it after absorbing large sources of energy in the form of powerful bosses.
Wouldn't the pure being be the butterfly and the twisted past being Galacta Knight which is why it turned into Morpho Knight instead of what it's otherwise supposed to do.

Here's how I decide what is Canon and what is not. Cases like meta knightmare/dedede tour/guest star in some cases i think are Canon for example in KSSU meta knight went out on a whole adventure to become the strongest so it wouldn't be out of the question to say who would go and fight whispy woods or even dedede (excluding when he destroyed his own ship) but what I considered the most Canon is the ending since most of the extra modes don't necessarily overlap with the Canon story i can most certainly see meta knight summoning galactic nova to wish to fight galactic knight so I usually use this tactic for every kirby game Except KRTDL and KPR the reason why is because with the former you fight GK in the true arena which in some way you could consider the fight Canon but its unknown as for the latter meta knightmare returns doesn't make sense for Canon because it completely overlaps the main story so maybe you could call it in "alternate universe" or something but aside from those I can definitely see in dedede tour the king make his way back to royal road and fighting shadow dedede and dark meta knight (excluding sectonia as it wouldn't make sense) and of course guest star mode in which I would only consider the fights with the mage sisters, hyness and morpho knight Canon because of how the story mode, the end of guest star and heroes in another dimension are all connected but who knows i would like to think galactic knight is Canon but we will have to see

when you beat meta knight in the game you get the meta knight sword blueprint and some abilities have 4 upgrades so if morpho knight is an enemy we probably get his sword blueprint

I think that maybe the butterfly has been testing Kirby throughout the years in every game, seeing if Kirby is still strong enough to be able to protect Dream Land and even Planet Popstar
That is an interesting perspective and fits in with beta meta knight and how in Kirby’s adventure he was testing Kirby before Kirby fought nightmare. Perhaps it was testing Kirby before he could put the main antagonist to rest

Well the game was released and we already know the answer, (This is a spoiler so stop reading if you don´t want to know)
The butterfly appears on the post-game and absorbs the main enemy of the game turning into morpho knight again (the original boss doesn´t look like or is even related to galacta knight) and this time is part of the main story so first of all looks like morpho knight is just another form of the butterfly rather than some kind of fusion and second of all that butterfly is more important and powerful than we thought
Perhaps there will be a kirby game where the butterfly plays a big role maybe as some kind of judgement game

I like the idea of having multiple Butterflies. Like what if Morpho Knight from this game is not the same one from Kirby Star Allies? Also I wanna point out that when you defeat Morpho Knight in this game, he kinda looks like Fecto Elfilis/Chaos Elfilis before he disappears by moving up. And Chaos Elfilis does look more like a butterfly/moth creature. And yeah maybe the butterflies were from this creature Fecto Elfilis. And gosh Elfilin is so kawaii!!

Galacta Knight and the Butterfly are both not evil. I read somewhere a while back that in an interview the Butterfly/Morpho Knight Judged/Absorbed Galacta Knight out of pity, allowing him to pass on and no longer be used as a sort of Gladiator in arenas. Admittedly, this came out before the game's release, so spoiler warning.
The Butterfly is Morpho Knight. Here's a bit of info to explain why/how. Meta Knight's mask is used to protect his Ability, the Meta Ability for lack of a better term. So *Morph*o Knight's ability would be... to Morph. Between Butterfly and Knight. But it needs an insane amount of power to do so, hint why, so far, it only does it after absorbing large sources of energy in the form of powerful bosses.
Wouldn't the pure being be the butterfly and the twisted past being Galacta Knight which is why it turned into Morpho Knight instead of what it's otherwise supposed to do.
