If you squeeze the data then it show whatever you want... In simpler terms majority of setups here are simply curve fitted.. Isnt it?
It needs a different kind of mindset to trade like this. As long as R:R>1 and probability of profit is >50 you'll always get money over time. You'll have to bear with losses until you breakeven
True. I have developed many TradingView setups, where backtesting is awesome, but in real life most don't work that well, because they are all curve fitted to past data, so in forward testing, it won't work that well. These strategies all seem to be curve fitted. Great on paper, not so much in live.

Great data crunching and concept. However, using closing price for backtest in an one day strategy might not be useful, as closing price is determined as 30 min weighted average.

Solution for monte carlo is that you always start up with 25 or 50% capcity till you build up some profits.. Then start with full position sizing

this is very common setup, is famous TURTLE TRADING with help of donchain channel where you can set 20 or 10 days breakout, and will always work in any market structure because it is inclusive of psychology aspect also......
This is the Famous Donchian channel strat. Lot of variations are there in the market but we need to find somethign that would be in sync with the indian markets.

Sir I need a reply to this- Like you told us, as the market structure changes, strategies also change, and as and when more people start using the same strategy, it stops working... Now in regards to your RS 55 strategy, it has been quite famous now.. But I think, it will never stop working.. because, I don't think it is a strategy, I think its a simple comparison of how a stock performed vis a vis a broader index.. which tells us it has strength or not.. It is not a 9:20 straddle that works today but may not work in future if market structure changes... It is a comparison with an index, and comparisons and averages are basic structures of markets..( like concept of moving average is still relevant even after decades of being used by almost everyone)... So I think the RS 55 is here to stay?

Yes, work on a system not a strategy... because strategies might not work in the future.
But a system, like following the trend, will always work.
Relative Strength is a tool to shortlist stocks that are outperforming Major Index or Sectors. It's like betting on a Winning horse.
Checking the performance of stocks if it is not equivalent to the index then we can move to other stocks which are doing much better.
Before using any strategies, indicators, or process it's important to understand the logic, and purpose behind it.
If any strategy has edge,(tested over more than 100 trades, ) edge continues

The equation of mathematics changes with the stage of the cycle which the market is currently in, sometimes 2+2 = 4 and sometimes, 2+2= 14.
So a constant computation with a fixed parameter will create havoc in the account of a Trade.
Please don't be fooled by such gimmicks, today we are in the AI age, where super computation knows which day 2+2=4 and which day 2+2=14.
My humble request to Vivek sir, please don't entertain such stupidity.
Markets are much more complex, and any attempt to simplify them will end into a tragedy 🙏.
