My psrents are very good (mostly) ar taking care of their belongings, to the point they have ancient things they don't throw out, ever (until they break) lol. Mind you, things used to be made to last longer, but still they take care of their thinga and they seem to last. They've been married for 40+ years so thry must be doing skmething rigjt there, even thougj i can see some issues with their relationship. Myself, I've owned a car for 16 years, and am on my third car. My second car was a toyota corolla and had it for 11 years. I didn't take maginifcent care of it bit I always had it seviced, etc. Not the same thing as a person, but I get the mindset implied by your statement.
