Im a beginner an no it does not lol. If your lines are shaky it will be shaky with this too

Do you use the same brand cartridge needles? I’ve been debating buying them but don’t know how smoothly they work.
@@psychedelicate_ they're decent for what I currently do which is mostly small, hand and poke-ish, minimalistic stuff. I didn't try other than these since I bought various cartridges along with it. Do you use something different?

This channel is more for product reviews and such. I'm sure you can find tons of videos on the internet like this. It's also very hard to find the right sanitary supplies right now. (Iso alcohol, latex gloves, green soap, etc) so it's not the best time to tattoo outside of a shop.

I was in a tat business between 09-11 with my cousin who uses a traditional tat gun but never gave me the chance to train on it. 10 years later I'm about to quit my job and bought myself this machine to see how I do on my own. Wish me luck

I just ordered it. The Amazon reviews both excited and scared me. Half say its amazing and the other half say it broke fast or it comes with a faulty power supply. But it should get here in two weeks, so we shall see. 👀

Hey I know you posted this awhile ago but I hope you could help me with a problem.
I bought the mast pen and the same mini power supply as you have but I can’t get the machine to start. I don’t have a foot pedal but I didn’t think that was needed. So basically I only have two cables plugged in, one in the front and one in the back. Is the foot pedal needed for it to start or could you think of some reason why the machine isn’t starting?
You dont need a foot padel, but you will need a 6.5 jack with a shorted chord, then the machine will run continously. If there is nothing plugged in, your circuit isnt closed. As you see in the video, the foot pedal was involved, even when running "without".
I think if it's overheating it may be that there's not enough grease on the mechanism from the factory so if you have this issue open it up and grease it down.

I have 2 of them and I've done multiple 5 hour tattoos haven't had a problem yet.
i have that machin , i have it as a back up machin...it used to be my primary , but injecta took his place for ever but besides that it a really good machine the only thibg i dont like is the grip.... the grip is a really bad thing
I think it takes some getting used to. For me using a wrap is really important and molding it to your hand but I like it more than a lot of grips I've used.
What kind would you recommend from that brand are they rotary pens aswell?
@@manuelgiron5350 look at these 2 machine they both are rotary pen , the "ez tat2" and the "mast tour pro" they both good for the price. and of course to start but if you really want a realky good pen go for a xion from fk irons... but we are talking about a higher price.

My cartridge keeps popping out when I do my practice tattoos and Idk why. It’s not locking the way yours does
COuld be a faulty cart. Have you tried others? All of mine on this machine has locked very firm. Almost sometimes hard to get out which is the way I like it.

How much needle depth should you tattoo with and how many volts
Trying to figure this out too
1-2mm, and volt depends on how fast you’re moving your hand. I usually run 7V on lining and 5-6 on shading with this pen.
When you use this, what voltage do you run liners vs shaders at?

I run my rotary on 7-9
You don’t really want to go above 9 though. It can burn the motor out pretty fast.
I typically keep this between 6-7 it's all about seeing what works best for you. I personally wouldn't run this machine very far above 7.
I have tested the machine in long sessions of up to 5 uninterrupted hours, at a voltage of 9.5 (it is the voltage I use for drag pointillism) and it has been great without overheating or even, it is true that it seems that from 9 , 5 the machine feels more forced, and changes the sound and precision, but up to 9.5 works well, I would never recommend using it at higher voltage, the machine is comfortable only if the bandage is not adjusted well to cover it when having an output In funnel the bandage is loose and sticks a lot to the needle, the material and the texture of the machine, quality-price ratio seems excellent to me, to clarify that I bought it just to try it since the one I usually use is the equalizer proton, but this mast for an emergency I would use it without hesitation.

Do rotary machines vibrate less than the coils? I have a coil, but I’m very small and I can not keep it straight to save my life. Would this be a better option? I’ve been told to try tattooing my whole adult life and I would really like to give it a shot

No needle should be out when the machine is off. Its a safety feature made by regulation. So that machine is defective.
Just got mine but wireless. Brand new and connnected the battery to motor and turned battery on but motor doesn’t work. Any suggestions
I need to know, how do I do perfect lines when the whole pen is vibrating? Like I feel the vibrations in my hand and I can't keep it steady, lines or curves it's always noticable. Is my pen defective or is it something that will come with time? I've been using the same pen for a year and it hasn't gotten better no matter how much I practice

Great video! Quick question, should the needle be shown when you first connect the cartridge? Because I only see mine when I step on the pedal. Or do I just need to adjust?
You can adjust the machine to however much you want the needle sticking out. If you have it all the way closed the needle will be sticking out even when you have it turned off. I always adjust while it’s turned on by eye

Hi I’m wondering if anyone is having the same problem as me. When I put the needle cartridge into the pen, the needle does not poke out when I press on the foot peddle but I hear it working. I’m probably doing something wrong 😂
Rotating the piece will change the depth of the needle. Rotate when the machine is on to see actual needle depth

After loading the cartridge, you dip the tip of the cart into the cap of ink. Do NOT touch the bottom of the cap with the needle. This is not a loadable tattoo pen in that you put ink into the machinery before use.

you lay those cartridges on a hot table , there are plenty of things that come into the machine even if you bag it . top part of the cartridge touches anything that will go straight in the machine

So, I want to start with tattooing, I'm drawing and doing graphic design for almost 8 years now, so I'm not new in drawing and creating stuff.. but. I have never tattoo anything. My concern is the price. All my tattoo artists keep saying, that the cheaper guns are making bad lines, and the ink under skin is going to dissolve, because of the gun. But I also don't want to spend some big money for something I don't even know if I'm gonna be good at, or if I'm gonna be enjoying making tattoos. So my question is, is this a good gun for it's price? Is it harmless for skin? Thanks!
They say what now!? If your machine is such bad quality that the stroke lengths vary, I could maybe see how some would be too shallow to stick and others so deep it would cause blowouts. But ink applied in a good angle to the correct depth could be applied with a piece of wood and it wouldnt dissolve.
