Death Knights are why I've always wanted another Scourge expansion that would, ahem, _expand_ upon the Scourge as player-faction giving us access to other Scourge-based Hero Classes, like Necromancers and Dark Rangers. I mean, why be for the Horde or the Alliance when your life can be for Ner'zhul (or Bolvar now, I guess. Doesn't matter who wears the crown, us hear and obey).
It's like having political parties working under the same Government. Like for example even though everyone should be working together for America it's always a battle between Democrats and Republicans serving their own specific agendas. The Ebon Blade is like this as well, while their members might have to appease their main branches of Government their subbranch is able to toss support where needed to suit their interests and goals. In the end no one really is allowed to remain neutral in politics unless you have the means to form your own nation on a scale large enough to contend with them. The Ebon Blade and even the Druids don't have the numbers to do that so they're forced to play part in the conflict between the Alliance and Horde

My first dungeon (BRD) as a DK was early, early Wrath when they were still purposefully overpowered. Hunter accidentally pulls extra stuff (as they do), so we’re dealing with two or three extra packs of trash. Which is quite a lot for BRD. So we’re fighting tooth and nail to survive and everybody is dropping except for me. I’m using Corpse Explosion when it’s up, I’m doing everything I can to clear at least a couple mobs. Managed to take down five mobs after the rest of the group wiped before I died. Then my talent (Shadow of Death) kicked it and brought me back to life as a Ghoul. Then I took down three more mobs before dying again. So I killed eight mobs by myself after the rest of the group wiped. It was one of the best times I ever had playing. Then they nerfed Death Knights and leveling through Outland wasn’t fun anymore.
I played a DK as a second character after I maxed out my Hunter, the last months before Cata. One reason for playing was the starting from level 55. Leveling was twice as hard those days. I remember the last quest, returning to Orgrimmar to finalize the release from LK's hold and to be part of the Horde, there was a welcome party... npcs throwing potatos (I think) to me, shouting "murderer" and so... until reaching Grommash Hold where after turning in the quest, the Warchief gave a speach and the people of Orgrimmar accepted my DK in their ranks. I think they changed this after Cataclysm.
The pre-patch scourge invasions before Wrath, the first DK you ever made, and in the Legion the class order hall campaign and the quest chain to get your order hall mount... so much epic.
"We do what the living cannot." Easily the most badass thing a death knight has ever said, and made them way cooler than the demon hunter class could ever hope to be. EDIT: I main a warrior btw. Only thing that can fight off a death knight heh.
I remember tanking as a Blood dk in lfr back during legion, I would regularly get 2nd and 3rd place on the healing charts. That's how good at self healing they were.
I've mained a Blood elf unholy DK since Wrath. She's my awesome Goth Queen, Mother of ghouls, Breaker of hearts, tamer of Invincible. I love her and she's all I aspire to be lol :D I LOVE the lore behind the class, your point #1 is spot on. You really carry that shame with you and you always feel like a bit of an outcast. The DK starter zone is the best across the game, the soundtrack of Ebon Hold is amazing, they have a cute undead horsie as a class mount. It's the best class, hands down!
Went to my friends house a few weeks after wrath and he was leveling a DK. I said idk what this game is but I’m playing that. Got a warrior to 55, made my first DK and it’s been my only main since 09. The fantasy, the aesthetic, class design, everything about DKs are just my favorite thing in wow. Guess I’m an edgelord xD
6 - It remains at the top of the PvE dps charts with Frost DK, because it's the simple melee spec for the simple player - the people Activision Blizzard value most when designing their games because they're more numerous.
7th reason to play death knights: They came with, and are a huge part of the best xpac, shadowlands, and they have THE BEST soundtrack with them. Arthas my son is the best song.
It'd be cool lorewise but I don't see how it would be designed without being too similar to Unholy DK or Demo Lock assuming it's all about summoning hordes of undead. And what would its other specs be? I guess I could see a potential healing spec using necromancy to "restore damaged flesh" but other than that it seems pretty straightforward that it's only another pet class.

Unholy: summons hordes of undead minions (the way it differs is that typically DKs focus on summoning a few weak undead and Demo locks focus on empowering good minions) Bloodweaver: uses blood magic to curse enemies and heal allies.
@@Olkard Warlock was my main since open beta and i don't understand why. Warlock was always about having 1 minion even as demo, it was only recently that they made warlock use more minions as demonology and it was by all standards poorly done.

All your statements are true in this video and it encourages me more, but what if other people just straight out don't want to play death knight. Eeyyy! T8 was my favorite too! The best part is, on my old Forsaken Death Knight... I wear the complete set... With Slayers of the Lifeless... as Frost of course. As for Unholy, I use Armageddon and while I don't use t8 set on the character, the character still looks badass as he looks like Darth Sidious with his Archerus Hood, Robe and Wrathful Shoulderpads and Gauntlets. Good times m8

If you are a new player coming into the World of Warcraft for the first time, just wait till the next expansion. That intro was hilarious though. It is near impossible to die in BfA, so the corpse run nostalgia hit me hard.

Lol fun video! I have played a death knight since WotLK beta and Nytemare of Galakrond has been my main since. I love all the specs but prefer frost for it's icy death magic. I have done everything from max content raids to pvp and the DK has always been my favorite. Quite possibly my favorite personal moment was emergency tanking Kel'thuzad after both tanks died and holding the boss for the final 15% hp plus his adds (unholy spec at that time) switching to blood presence and using the aggro power of unholy blight + death and decay saved the entire raid.
Arcturionn Bloodhound There’s only 1 raid atm which I’ve done a million times. I already have all the cool transmog on my character and all the next sets look shit. Warfronts are literally garbage. Quest lines are done. Lore doesn’t even make sense. Why are the horde and alliance fighting after we have teamed up so many times. Bfa is just trash man.

I made a death knight in dalaran and since I have no high level characters in it I’m gonna main it, and the reason why is because some video that’s really cool inspired me to do so and so far I’m enjoying death knight I’m unholy atm level 20 I might switch to frost, not sure I played frost before I really liked it
Been playing WoW for about.. a year now? I still haven't pin pointed my favourite class yet but I finally made a Death Knight and trying out frost spec atm. Finding it really nice to play. Usually I dislike melee but gotta admit this class makes it fun for me.

I always liked the Shamans since Warcraft 3 was my first Rts game. Because just their style and theme are 2 diffrent things in together, Imagine an very calm,old and wise orc that suddenly summons very loud lightning storms and raging lavas out of nowhere, he is both focused by guidence of the spirits and the anger of an bloodthirsty warrior at the same time ^^
I play a DH myself, formerly mained a rogue up until Legion. I have to admit there is a special allure to a DK though. If I ever was going to start another class Death Knight would be at the top of the list for me. Awesome video! Maybe do a Demon Hunter one and show how his followers strove to be like Illidan. Pushing back the invading Legion and the ultimate sacrifice of merging there bodies with demons to fight demons and there constant struggle with the demon within. Wouldn't that be cool? You have to admit DH class are pretty sweet too, no?

Osiris Boring Quests, Bad class design, Azerite(only minor, just boring af), Lack of balancing, Warfronts, lack of interesting content, itemization, Class fantasy, lack of abilities, no new talents, cluncky gameplay, bad performance (major). Just a couple of things I know off head.
As an Unholy Death Knight main since Legion I mainly chose it because not may people in my guild played one. I mained a lock from BC to Cata. Also the Mythic Tier set from Nighthold is my favorite (don't have it yet but I want it!) set.
I recently leveled a death knight from 55 to 120 and I gotta say it was extremely refreshing to be an Unholy DK. LVLing felt like a chore since I've been lvling a bunch of fresh characters trying to master every class but man Unholy DK felt so fun to play. When I got Army of the Dead, oh boy was it an experience to unleash the armies of Brel the Death Knight on talking rabbits in Pandaria. It's the most fun I've had in the game recently. But Mage is still the master class.

First off, as a death knight I'm glad you mentioned Blood DK's immortality. Its awesome so get a quest to kill 10 morlocks, aggro the entire village and a nearby boss and solo it all. @@princevegeta1752 Dazar'alor is coming in a couple days and Crucible of Storms soon after. It's the start of the expansion, course theres only one atm. Although the Uldir Sets are... lacking, the Warfront/PvP Sets and specially the upcoming sets for Dazar'alor are looking pretty great. Flying in endgame and getting bunch of mounts and maybe even some good gear. You may not like it but others like myself do. Last I checked, questlines are still releasing new parts. Or you just need the rep to unlock the next part. The fact you don't know why the Horde and Alliance are fighting just shows that it isn't the "lore not making sense" but you not paying attention and at least doing a quick read on a few of the stories in the website. A Good War does a fine job explaining why there's war. But if you did Uldir "a million times", you should already have seen enough of the reason: Azerite. Although it has its flaws, I'm enjoying BfA a lot so far. The endgame right now is small but theres plenty coming, and to be honest, I find the endgame questlines in BfA far more enjoyable than I did Suramar.

I have been playing Unholy death knight since the day they released (sometimes im forced to go frost for the meters) but man ... nothing beats unholy for me, i recently reached 1 year of play time on it aswell =D and will keep on going, great video as usual Nixxiom
I made a gnome DK for the lolz some time ago, Lapetitemort. I remember there was a starter zone quest about duels or something. Anyhow, someone challenged me, probably thinking "oh, they're tiny and less intimidating. I can take her, easy peas..." with a few people just watching... then I proceeded to wipe the floor with them.
It’s so interesting to see what people enjoy playing. I have recently created a death knight, and it is my least favorite char...lol The reason is you start at level 55 that you didn’t earn, with a bunch of abilities that you have to get used to just by jumping in the game as opposed to getting one ability at a time and mastering them all. Also I kind of feel bad running around killing innocent citizens as they beg you for their life. I know it’s just a game, but I guess I prefer to play a hero vs a villain. Great video though! :)

The real prob with frost dk tank is that blood dk was more tanky thanks to death strike and dealt waaaaaaay more dmg
i member frost dw tanking in WoTlK dungeons was very fun and you did a good amount of dmg too

just recently roled a deathknight, and i love them. YES i know wotlk came out 10 years ago! I rebelled against them. I preferred my paladin.

If you are a new player coming into the World of Warcraft for the first time, just wait till the next expansion. That intro was hilarious though. It is near impossible to die in BfA, so the corpse run nostalgia hit me hard.

Lol fun video! I have played a death knight since WotLK beta and Nytemare of Galakrond has been my main since. I love all the specs but prefer frost for it's icy death magic. I have done everything from max content raids to pvp and the DK has always been my favorite. Quite possibly my favorite personal moment was emergency tanking Kel'thuzad after both tanks died and holding the boss for the final 15% hp plus his adds (unholy spec at that time) switching to blood presence and using the aggro power of unholy blight + death and decay saved the entire raid.

Arcturionn Bloodhound There’s only 1 raid atm which I’ve done a million times. I already have all the cool transmog on my character and all the next sets look shit. Warfronts are literally garbage. Quest lines are done. Lore doesn’t even make sense. Why are the horde and alliance fighting after we have teamed up so many times. Bfa is just trash man.

I made a death knight in dalaran and since I have no high level characters in it I’m gonna main it, and the reason why is because some video that’s really cool inspired me to do so and so far I’m enjoying death knight I’m unholy atm level 20 I might switch to frost, not sure I played frost before I really liked it

Been playing WoW for about.. a year now? I still haven't pin pointed my favourite class yet but I finally made a Death Knight and trying out frost spec atm. Finding it really nice to play.
Usually I dislike melee but gotta admit this class makes it fun for me.
Here we go, 5 reason why to play DK, Paly, Hunter... series. We have already saw it , but hey... we can again. Plz, make Paladins one of the last classes, don't know why every you-tuber puts DK, Paladin, Hunter class at first option.

I always liked the Shamans since Warcraft 3 was my first Rts game. Because just their style and theme are 2 diffrent things in together, Imagine an very calm,old and wise orc that suddenly summons very loud lightning storms and raging lavas out of nowhere, he is both focused by guidence of the spirits and the anger of an bloodthirsty warrior at the same time ^^

I play a DH myself, formerly mained a rogue up until Legion. I have to admit there is a special allure to a DK though. If I ever was going to start another class Death Knight would be at the top of the list for me.
Awesome video! Maybe do a Demon Hunter one and show how his followers strove to be like Illidan. Pushing back the invading Legion and the ultimate sacrifice of merging there bodies with demons to fight demons and there constant struggle with the demon within. Wouldn't that be cool? You have to admit DH class are pretty sweet too, no?

Kinda depends on the level you get too, it's fun if you fully level, play end game content, and understand the class

The most players I saw on Doomhammer only 10 people Zuldazar or 4 people in even Orgrimmar.
Osiris Boring Quests, Bad class design, Azerite(only minor, just boring af), Lack of balancing, Warfronts, lack of interesting content, itemization, Class fantasy, lack of abilities, no new talents, cluncky gameplay, bad performance (major). Just a couple of things I know off head.
As an Unholy Death Knight main since Legion I mainly chose it because not may people in my guild played one. I mained a lock from BC to Cata. Also the Mythic Tier set from Nighthold is my favorite (don't have it yet but I want it!) set.
another reason to play a dk is that they're braindead easy so you can just not think about the game while you play.
I recently leveled a death knight from 55 to 120 and I gotta say it was extremely refreshing to be an Unholy DK. LVLing felt like a chore since I've been lvling a bunch of fresh characters trying to master every class but man Unholy DK felt so fun to play. When I got Army of the Dead, oh boy was it an experience to unleash the armies of Brel the Death Knight on talking rabbits in Pandaria. It's the most fun I've had in the game recently.
But Mage is still the master class.

First off, as a death knight I'm glad you mentioned Blood DK's immortality. Its awesome so get a quest to kill 10 morlocks, aggro the entire village and a nearby boss and solo it all.

Dazar'alor is coming in a couple days and Crucible of Storms soon after. It's the start of the expansion, course theres only one atm.
Although the Uldir Sets are... lacking, the Warfront/PvP Sets and specially the upcoming sets for Dazar'alor are looking pretty great.
Flying in endgame and getting bunch of mounts and maybe even some good gear. You may not like it but others like myself do.
Last I checked, questlines are still releasing new parts. Or you just need the rep to unlock the next part.
The fact you don't know why the Horde and Alliance are fighting just shows that it isn't the "lore not making sense" but you not paying attention and at least doing a quick read on a few of the stories in the website. A Good War does a fine job explaining why there's war. But if you did Uldir "a million times", you should already have seen enough of the reason: Azerite.
Although it has its flaws, I'm enjoying BfA a lot so far. The endgame right now is small but theres plenty coming, and to be honest, I find the endgame questlines in BfA far more enjoyable than I did Suramar.
Arcturionn Bloodhound keep subbed while you wait for the “plenty coming”. Meanwhile I will do other shit. I might resubmit for a week to do the next content release then be done with it again for another 3 months

Ye boi, been playing an unholy DK through BfA. Really enjoying the necromancer feel and the gameplay, priming and detonating your abilities - satisfying play style.
I have been playing Unholy death knight since the day they released (sometimes im forced to go frost for the meters) but man ... nothing beats unholy for me, i recently reached 1 year of play time on it aswell =D and will keep on going, great video as usual Nixxiom

I made a gnome DK for the lolz some time ago, Lapetitemort. I remember there was a starter zone quest about duels or something. Anyhow, someone challenged me, probably thinking "oh, they're tiny and less intimidating. I can take her, easy peas..." with a few people just watching... then I proceeded to wipe the floor with them.
Dk's are soo fun to play i played so many classes and when i started playing my unholy i fell in Love. So fun to play so tanky and so powerfull.
Now I want to play a Death Knight! Awesome video. 😺

It’s so interesting to see what people enjoy playing. I have recently created a death knight, and it is my least favorite char...lol The reason is you start at level 55 that you didn’t earn, with a bunch of abilities that you have to get used to just by jumping in the game as opposed to getting one ability at a time and mastering them all. Also I kind of feel bad running around killing innocent citizens as they beg you for their life. I know it’s just a game, but I guess I prefer to play a hero vs a villain. Great video though! :)
