A couple of lore notes, though: - The backstory you gave for Gul'dan **IS** the alternate (WoD) Gul'dan's backstory. The main timeline Gul'dan was a student of Ner'zhul, who inherited Kil'Jaeden's favor when Ner'zhul started getting flaky about the whole "corruption of the Orcs" thing. - This following detail is not needed and would have made the video unnecessarily longer, but it's cool trivia nonetheless: Before he got a seat on the Eredar leadership, Archimonde was the student of a master summoner named Thal'Kiel, who planned to overthrow Kil'Jaeden and Velen with his army of demons. Archimonde snitched on Thal'Kiel to the two head honchos, with the goal of securing popular support and power for himself. The plan worked, Archimonde is rewarded with a seat of leadership, and Thal'Kiel goes on to become the Demonology Warlock artifact weapon.
Gallywix is his student but he will never reach his grandeur in greed and the big ugly Btw, is it only me or does Kotick look like a lizard robot? Like Zucc

In my Warcraft Homebrew game, i was planning on a KT Boss Battle in Naxxramas, with Grave-Lord Nito from Dark Souls 1 to be an Evil Side-Kick, working on summoning Adds and using Grave-Sword Spikes to attack the Party while KT spams Shadowbolt Volley and different Curse Spells on the Healers and Tanks.
Gul'dan's retcon was shit. Not every damn villain needs a "bo-hoo, feel bad for me for why I do evil things" story. Him being an opportunistic sociopath in the original was just fine.
well, if you think about it, how do you level, kill everything in sight. archeology? go into inhabited villages, kill the beings that live there, and steal their shit. dungeons? run into someone else's home, kill everything in sight, steal their shit. raids? go into someone else's home, kill everything and steal their shit... YAY.. we're the good guys. don't forget the quest in Moa'ki harbor.. you know the one. {Paraphrase, but more accurate} " go kill all of the mothers, and baby sitters, and steal the kids.. so we can raise them to hate their own clan" yeah, boy.... we're the good guys.

Frostmourne corrupted him. He did nothing wrong. He always wanted to save his people but in the end he became the thing he fought against thanks to that damn blade.
@@kristiyangrigorov5232 Frostmourne did not corrupted him. He was already corrupted. He didn't have frostmourne when he did the culling of stradholme or when he killed Muradin at the cave. Yes both the sword and the helm gave him power and corrupted him but he was already lost. It was his own ego and thirst for power which was his doom. It's a darth Vader story all over again
I think Nixxiom was also judging based on intentions. Even though Arthas was an arrogant prick who did horrible things, he still genuinely wanted to protect his people. ...Then again, Kil'jaeden also wanted to protect the Eredar, and look how well that turned out.
