Great update! Question: - can I add description, url, stock level as columns? - is there a limit to what types you can add? - is the table a secondary KB if you already have a primary one? - do we need personality enabled? As it can delay the responses slightly
Excellent questions - you can add text, numbers, dates, and boolean variables as columns. The best practice here would be to ensure that the data in your KBs don't overlap - so avoid having prices for the same item listed in both a table and a document, for instance. You don't need to have personality enabled. :-)
FINALLY!!! With this, every restaurant in the world is a potential client for us. I spent a lot of time trying to make a functional bot for ordering food and I didn't get the result I wanted. THANK YOU
Good question! Document knowledge bases don't support the import of CSV or excel files - it's expecting a PDF or plaintext. The table is a built in spreadsheet editor within the Studio to ensure that you get the correct answer to a query every time - it's designed for organized data (as opposed to document knowledge bases, which expect unstructured data)
I doubt you can do math on the text-based CSV. It seems you can with the table. eg What would be the costs of Eggs& Bacon a coffee and doughnut! assuming these are separate rows it;;ll do the math ( I think :))

This is awesome!. Is it possible to get the same information from a database such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL or Postgress?
Why not use that CSV or excel file as a knowledge base? Why to create a table?

can we use json in the variable and use it instead of table
? or can we use text file as data.json
Is there a limit to table rows?
Each bot has 5,000 rows in the free plan!
I am unable to click this option in my dashboard, it shows but can't click on the table option. Can anyone help?
Of only we could update the table via api
The API for tables is coming very soon!
