Using Botpress To Build Custom Trained AI ChatBots (2023 Full Tutorial)

- Today we are going to build a custom trained AI ChatBot in Botpress that we can deploy on our websites to help answer all of our visitors' questions! We will train this bot on the unique information on our own individual websites to provide our visitors with a unique customer experience while they visit our sites.
AI chatbots are a game-changer for turning website visitors into paying customers. These smart bots provide personalized assistance, engaging with visitors and guiding them through the website. With instant support and real-time responses, chatbots create a seamless experience that boosts customer satisfaction and increases conversion rates. They work 24/7, allowing us to focus more on building great businesses and less on answering our visitors' generic questions! Now that we are in the midst of the AI Revolution, it has never been easier to train custom ChatBots that can interact with our visitors and help convert them into paying customers.
Botpress is my favorite chatbot builder currently on the market due to the immense amount of customization and level of control that they provide its users. By harnessing the power of its visual workspace, we are able to build completely unique, personalized chatflows full of conditional logic, dynamic branching and AI-trained nodes capable of relaying information from complex knowledge bases to our end-users. While there is a bit of a learning curve, it is well worth the squeeze to learn the basics of Botpress so that you can begin delivering complex chatbots for yourself and your clients.
In this video I am going to teach you the basics of Botpress - Nodes, Cards, and Expressions - so that we can begin building out complex, interconnected chatflows capable of handling the leads on our website. Once we've got our feet under us, I will show you how to train your bot on custom information on your website so that your bot can provide instant support to your leads and prospects without you having to lift a finger. This video is even beter than the Botpress tutorials- You have done a stellar job of breakig EVERYITH down in the smplest chunks! I want to crewate a real estate Chatbot- PLEASE do a REAL ESTATE tutorial for us- It can be VERY simple- My BIG hang up is tyiong to figure out how to incorporate a zip code variable- I am sure that at some point I cn figure it out - but would LVE a video tutoprail on this - PLEASE! I think if you keep generating videos centered around “intent” , it would be great. That’s the biggest thing I’m working now. The proper way to use the INTENT and chain that off into proper paths and when to use CHOICE instead. My bot is centered around a training/operational agent for long term memory pulls. (I’m Also looking at Langchain/Pinecone/Flowise but BotPress is sooo user friendly).The market manager told me many companies on his client list are looking for these bots & trying to crack the nut on all this but worried about compartmentalization and cross pollination from all the apps being integrated. So security is a concern. What are your thoughts on Voiceflow? Any preference over BotPress? Again, thanks for all your content.

If you could make a video showing us how to use the AI task feature as well as the execute code card and find the codes successfully that would be amazing
One issue I found is that if they want to go back to the start and change their desired destination the bot can't repeat the same flow.
So I had to copy/paste the initial question into the KB after the "question" variable.
Mine was slightly different as I changed from groupsize to visitReason and provided a few "intents".

Love the travel bot idea. Just to add you can go one step further with a chatGPT fallback at the end if the Knowledge base can not answer the question.

Hey, there is a little bug in this video. When you type in 5 or 10 the bot ends. It needs to be more or equal than five / more or equal than 10.

So what happens next after you secure the client? Do I send them the embed code with instructions OR do they provide the the website information and I add the code? This probably can be done in various ways, but what is your suggestion?

for whatever reason, the knowledgebase isnt working. the node isnt turning blue and the book icon isnt appearing. All responses are that it doesnt know the answer
It's very easily & concisely explained. But this is not an AI trained chatbot. This is a chatbot that uses KB , AI chatbot uses AI tasks card.
Can we customize the bot like if want to open the bot only when I verified OTP by other components in my MERN stack project ?
