Thank you for another lovely podcast, always a joy seeing your makes. Always so kind seeing people send and donate things to be given away and spread the joy of crafting further
Sometimes I am envious of your stash, but then you podcast about taking days to reorganize all of it and my stash envy quickly disappears. 😂 I have enough stash to feel that if I could not buy sock yarn for a year and I wouldn't run out. Keep in mind that it takes me a month to knit one pair.😂😂 Love Lily's sweater!
OMG I cannot believe how many socks you have knitted - I am so enjoying knitting socks from stash and hopefully I will have a few pairs knitted in the next month - hope you enjoy your trip to your family and stay safe 🥰
I love the idea of sorting your stash. I sort mine about every 6 months or as needed. I am a "strategic stasher" and only buy yarns with projects in mind. I fall in love with the yarns I've purchased and they get moved to my "must use" list. It's a reminder to be grateful for what I have instead of wishing for more. Kind of fitting for your cross stitch pattern. Happy making!
Love the podcast. Thanks for the stash idea. I didn’t realize I could put it on Ravelry. I’ve been trying to build up my stash and now it’s gotten a little out of control as to what I have. Mainly sock yarn. I need to get all my socks added to SSC so I can be eligible for prizes too. Thanks for all you do. Have a great trip!
I am almost done with my first ever pair of knitted socks (I have only crocheted projects in the past). I have never knitted using a pattern, and I am following your vanilla sock pattern! I have learned so much from this process and I am so excited to officially consider myself a knitter! Thank you for all your helpful videos, Kayla :D
I had surgery on my hand in May and haven't been able to knit for a while. I'm so excited that this week I was finally able to get needles back in my hands and completed my first sock since my surgery. Watching you over these weeks has brought me joy and kept me motivated to get back to knitting.
Have a heart jumping re organized your yarn. It's nice to hear other knitters organizing the yarn stash. Love your podcast. Your socks are awesome. Love knitting vanilla socks.
Always watch your episodes. So encouraging with sock making. It is my dream to organize my yarn stash. Enjoy your vacation. Thank you for the time you spend sharing your knitting
I have been bagging some of my yarns also into ziplock then plastic totes with a dryer sheet. It helps me with seeing what I really have for yarn stash. I love the green Santa project bag. She was beautiful work!
I loved seeing all your socks & am always amazed how many you can knit. I'm on my second pair of socks and it was fun to be knitting on my socks while you're showing all yours. Your niece's sweater is so pretty!
Always enjoy watching you and your makes. Always makes me feel inspired! I am also attempting to use my stash and not purchase any yarn! It's not easy, but I keep telling myself that I purchased this yarn to use so I better do it. 😊
Glad Wyatt is enjoying your hand knit socks again, he’s a lucky guy!! Love the socks from your leftover cowl, beautiful yarn. The colorwork on the sweater is so pretty, makes me want to knit one and I’ve never enjoyed colorwork, lol. So sweet that you offer things for your followers.
That stalina yarn is beautiful! It reminds me of a sunset sky when you can see stars on one horizon but there are still purples and oranges on the other horizon. The project bags are gorgeous also!
Gorgeous projects! You're inspiring me to get my yarn organized. It was so tidy a year ago, but my purchasing rate is faster than my organizing rate. Have a wonderful trip.
I am so impressed by how many socks you are able to knit up in so little time. If only I could knit as fast as you!! Also, I love your videos they also make me so happy!
Am knitting my first ever Jelly Roll Blanket because yours have been so inspiring! And now, after this episode, I find myself wanting to knit a scrappy cowl and matching scrappy socks too!
Hi Kay, the battle to keep sock stash safe from moths is an ongoing thing. Add some moth traps to your yarn stash room, that will take out the males as the trap emits female moth pheromones. The moth has no mouth but their larvae are voracious! I've been there but thankfully that is behind me. I absolutely adore the Snowman Christmas project bag by Awesome Granny!! I have long admired her lovely bags ❤ Loved your socks, particularly the scrappy ones you managed to get from the cowl leftovers xx ❤😊
Love seeing all the socks you’re working on! I’m always interested to see what colours of yarn you’re working with whether it be old stash or new. Would love to see a yarn room tour when you finally reorganise but obviously that’s more work for you 😅 Looking forward to seeing your next episode. ❤
The number of socks you have knit for the year is amazing!! I am also excited to see the organized yarn. I am only interested in entering for the project bag 🥰
I love the sweater you are knitting for your niece. The pink really pops on the black. Slowly getting my stash down, I have one box of wool, one of cotton and one of sock yarn, then everything else is in a bag with the pattern and occasionally needles.
Hi Kayla. Your socks are all looking great. Love the blue pair you said might be for Wyatt. Just lovely. The sweater for your niece is looking beautiful. You are knitting it up so quickly. I like the bags. Hope you have a great trip. Enjoy.
Another fantastic episode! Look forward to watching every week! Love the bags! It amazes me how many socks you have done! I started knitting socks in March ...thanks to your tutorials... and have 20 pairs done!
Love your niece's sweater. That pattern would be perfect for my granddaughters. The Christmas bags are the best! I even have the perfect sock yarn to go in them.😂😂😂 I've been working through my stash for a year now. It is such a great feeling to not have the clutter. I love my yarn, but it was stressing me out. So joy, joy is my goal. Have a great week.
You really inspire to knit socks. I usually have one pair that I can knit on in my bag, so that when I have a spare moment I just get them out and knit 🤩
I was hoping for a new video from you soon! So inspiring to see allllllll the socks you knit. I'm trying to be more present and less on my phone scrolling to get back to the good old days of knitting. So far I'm almost finished a pair of socks that have been languishing in my basket for 9 months! I can't wait to see Lily's sweater all done!
I am not doing good with sock right now. I have busy with baby & wedding blankets. I find people appreciate them more than apparel or socks. Happy for you that you have people who appreciate them all.
I love that you make Lilly a sweater every year for her birthday I look forward to seeing which pattern you choose each time and i love the pink and black together so pretty. You are the reason I knit socks. I love to make them I don’t knit nearly as many as you but that is ok, I knit because it brings me joy. I only want the bag please
I really enjoy William Kent Krueger! He is from Minnesota so it is fun that he mentions things here. Even if I wasn’t from Minnesota, I really enjoy his books! I would be interested in the bag for the drawing. As always, thank you!
As always …such a delightful podcast! Thanks for sharing all your making!! So inspiring! Thanks also for sharing the generosity of the makers you speak about! Hope you have an enjoyable trip!
That bag with the animals is so cute!!! I've been organising my stash as well. I have about 10 sweaters waiting to be knit and I'm so excited to start on them. Especially now that we're getting some cooler weather again!
It always feels so good to knit from deep stash! I think we all probably need to do that from our personal yarn shop hoards! 😆 LOVE the vintage looking Christmas bags!
missing the weekly podcast but now i’m even more excited when i see it pop up as posted!! all the socks also motivating me to get my butt in gear!! i would love to enter just for the bag! the one with the little snowy animals is just too cute!
Hi Kay! I really love seeing the progress you’ve made with all your socks and with your nieces sweater! I really enjoy seeing the joy you have making vanilla socks and it encourages me not to feel guilty for not knitting a pattern sock! The medium bags are so perfect for Christmas in July! They are both so cute!
Good morning Kay! Always love to catch up on your projects. I also knit a sweater for our niece's birthday each year and seeing your black and coral combo has me scheming about next years! Safe travels on your trip and take care, Kate (interested in the holiday bag not the stitch marker set, thank you!)
Wooooohoooo, I'd love just the bag if I am the winner. I enjoy listening to you while I knit and sip my coffee. Your channel is so informative and has helped me memorize the heel flap and gusset for vanilla socks.
Lillys sweater is beautiful...she is going to love it. I also am a person who loves cross stitch haven't done as much since I finished The Last Supper on a communion table cloth for my church several years ago. For Christmas usually make ornaments for family so I am picking those out now...please enter me in the drawing for one of the project bags that sure are "awesome" by grannie!❤
I went through my stash not that long ago and it felt so good to organize it and see what was hiding at the back of the cubbies 😊 Now it’s easier to knit more from stash ❤
Yarn stash on ravelry sounds like a game changer!! I have only ever utilized ravelry for patterns and havent really gotten into all of its features. I also just finished my first pair of vanilla shorties following your dpn tutorial, and immediately started a new pair! I've been so intimidated by making heels and you make it so easy!! Thank you so much for another awesome podcast. ❤
I love those socks in the Shelter colorway! Those turned out so nice❤ Also, Lily's sweater is so pretty!! I'm still working on my very first pair of socks for summer sock camp. Congrats to all the winners. Love your new Sparkle yarn. Can't wait to see it made up. Have a good 2 weeks❤❤
I keep thinking about adding my stash to ravelry but find the idea overwhelming, honestly. Maybe some day! The sparkle on that yarn is stunning. It’s comes across so well on camera I can only imagine how sparkly it is in person! Also, love me some bags by awesome grannie! She’s here in Texas with me though about 3 hours away. I have several of her bags and she was even sweet enough to make me a custom notions pouch to match one of my XL bags I bought from her. Thanks for another great podcast. Enjoy your trip!
I love seeing all the socks you knit! I’m trying your vanilla socks on 9” circulars pattern for the first time, I usually knit my socks on magic loop. So glad to know there is another month is SSC! 👏🏻😃
I'm having a great time making socks this summer, thanks for hosting the MAL! Lily's sweater looks great, I love the contrast between the very dark and very bright colors ❤
I love watching your podcasts and I really love how you encourage everyone to do what they love! Can’t wait to see all the knitting you get done on your holiday!
Just love the Sarah's crochet craft OOAK yarn. So pretty. The saying on your cross stitch pattern is lovely. Makes me want to break out the cross stich too.
I love the beautiful blue socks you are making for Wyatt. So pretty. If I should by chance win a prize this week I would love the snow man bag. Hope you have a great time with your Grandma!
You have given me a renewed love of making vanilla socks and I am using only scraps to make them so they are fun and scrappy and bring me joy. Thank you for doing your podcast and sharing your crafting with us all.
Sometimes I think my sock game is so on… and then I hear your count! Way to go girlie!! I LOVE knitting socks and learned from your pattern and video on 9” circs. Thank you for giving me one of my all-time favorite pastimes (and gifts to give). Blessings!
Love the sweater you’re making for your niece. She’s going to love those colors! Good luck to you in getting your stash organized. It seems like a huge task, which keeps me from doing it for my stash. Who knows maybe you’ll be an inspiration to me. Thanks for the episodes on this channel. Until the next time. Salam wa sa’aadah
I love the scrappy projects you share!!! I have so many indi dyed projects mostly sock left overs! lol! I just finished putting all my stash on Ravelery too. I am glad i did. The sweater for your niece is soooo cute! She will love it! And, I have had a cross stitch kit for almost a year now that you have inspired me to start. Always such a great podcast!
While watching the podcast this morning, I was knitting on a sweater. Knitting has been a good hobby/skill for me to have homemade goods to gift. Happy making!
I always look forward to your new episodes. I’ve been making socks in SSC, but lately I’m being drawn more to a few sweater & blanket wips. Still going on socks, but giving myself permission to work on what brings me joy.
Thank you for another lovely podcast, always a joy seeing your makes. Always so kind seeing people send and donate things to be given away and spread the joy of crafting further

I am so shocked at how many socks you can make! I bow down to you. With opening Bigfoot Yarns I barely have time to touch my yarn right now. 😂😂😂
