Harder part is putting the plate (and frame on the bracket. Should do a Part 2.

How has this mount held up over time? Do you have to tighten it here and there?

It’s held up quite nice. I did have to add a washer in the front and back of the bolt that mounts to the stick. My only complain is that it sticks out more than license plate holders. But then again it’s only 20$ compared to the other ones that cost 80$

I got mine and it keeps drop down no matter how hard I tighten that sucker.
Car wash will be annoying. I should've get the removable one.

Did you have to twist the first rod in half way ?

I twisted it in as much as I could. Then with the second rod I was able to tighten all the way. A crescent wrench would help

Has the license plate ever tilt or come loose ?

Yes it has became loose once but I fixed it by putting a washer in between the the front side of the plate and the bolt.
