Tip: you can use shampoo instead of conditioner with the colour and it won't deposit colour, it will only strip out light/pastel shades. I used to do this all the time when I had dyed hair

I mix up purple conditioner (manic violet in white conditioner) instead of leaving purple shampoo on my hair for 40 minutes to tone my bleach blond to silver. I love ur short pixie hair cut. I too change my short hair color every six weeks. I’m 58 so I feel like I’ve earned the right to do whatever. You go girl. You wear every style with confidence and that is beautiful.
I, for one, am very thankful you dye your hair so often cause it helps me resist the urge to bleach and dye my own hair after working very hard to make it healthy again by being able to live vicariously through you 😉😘

When I had that minty undertone in my hair after bleaching out blue, I used the ion bright white in spring blossom permanent toner (use a 10 volume) and it canceled out perfectly 👌

I enjoy working on my hair a lot as well, so many different colours, cuts and dreads, synthetic self-made dreads, i can look different everyday if i feel like it. Nothing to do with insecurity, it is just fun and i totally get her excitement when it comes to changing colours and experimenting on her hair 🤗🤗🤗

I TRIED IT!!! I was devistated with my recent project going from a cool dk .brown to a platinum...wonk wonk..soo i went green blonde..BUT....your video popped up and i corrected with a pink joico then after i dried it did the purple step AND PERFECTION!!!! THANK YOU Mama!!!
I totally get you! I love dying my hair even if it means destroying it. I find more insecure the fact that some people rely so much on their hair that they treat it like it is a vital organ that must be protected and left untouched and long and socially acceptable, like first of all whats the fun in that?? and second, its hair!! it grows all the time, it is not something as important as many people make it, express yourself through it freely!! it should be a way of expresing yourself and have fun with yourself instead of the vesel of your selfconfidence/insecurity

Ion has a Salmon color semi permanent that I mixed with Aussie miracle conditioner. I applied combed through for a few minutes, then washed with purple shampoo. Amazing! I did the same as you and shaved my hair off, or almost. I had some newly bleached hair left that wasn’t dead. But I didn’t feel like myself having just “blonde” hair. So I had to dye it neon yellow again. I went short to try and get my hair healthy, but I just want to have fun with it. Like you said, you love coloring it in different colors. And so do I 🙈❤️

I really recommend getting something like the poster paint from good dye young, then maybe you can get the fun from dying your hair and changing colour but it won’t change your hair permanently!!

When you get a mint, use a warm pastel pink type of color to cancel it and match the strength of the pink to the mint.
