cosmetologist here! for a better result use a demi permanent dye so that way it’s actually cancelling out the blue and not just sitting on top of it. when u use semi it’s not doing much but just sitting on top of ur hair strand. the next time u bleach ur hair it will most likely lift and still be blue.
I just glanced at your old makeup tutorials and OMG you look so different now and I'm HERE FOR IT. You've blossomed into a beautiful colorful queeeeen. I live vicariously through you dying your hair. My fine curly hair gets so dry and brittle so I just dye it black and call it a day lol. I love your videos!
I really really love vivid red hair colors but keeping it this vibrant is such a hard task, after a wash or 2 and its orange-ish or faded red, if lucky it could look very pretty but most of the times it doesnt sadly enough, love warm hair colors on you!
i usually go for a cowash with a lot of scalp scrubbing or a sulfate free shampoo when i'm wearing bright colors and it tends to last a lot longer, highly suggest that
My solution was to switch to pink and embrace the fade. I really love all the different colors pink fades too, it's like I get a new color every shampoo.
I use the red from Sally Beauty, their Strawberry Leopard line, and it fades to a pretty pink! If I want to keep it vibrant longer, I make a tinted conditioner. :)
A good way to preserve hair colour, is by either getting a products like the Keracolor Clenditioner. Or you could take some of the conditioner you usually use and add the hair dye colour you dyed your hair with into it. I do this with every single vivid colour I do. Each time I wash my hair, I use the conditioner/dye mixture to keep my colours bright. It's never failed me
Honestly what helped me get rid of my blue hair was dying it a red brown and then lifting the color again. I know it seems counterproductive, but for some weird reason it worked. I now have perfectly blonde highlights in my hair with no blue undertones. But congrats! Beautiful red hair :) Glad it worked out for you!!
i used to have brightly coloured hair for years, mostly in the blue and green family but because of my work i can't do that as much anymore so i stick to fiery orange and red and have done so for a little over year now and I LOVE it. sometimes i miss my emerald green but i get so many compliments on my hair and it makes me feel hella cute. the end colour is absolutely amazing on you, it suits you so well!! eta : tbh the only way I've ever really gotten rid of blue and green tones in my hair was shaving it off
Oh my god. I just realized there was a period of time in highschool when 60's/70's styles (kinda?) came back (I think I remember bell-bottoms in Old Navy commercials?) and my mom was like "OMG I'm offically old AF!" So the fact that 90's trends are coming back officially symbolizes me becoming "old AF". 😢 FU€k!
Loving how vibrant the end result came out! Reds really do cover up a world of hurt. Although that orangey-brown hair color you had on before was just begging for some ginger hair dye... Spicy ginger/copper next maybe?
the natural with the brown ends blonde root looks crazy and beautiful honestly so buzzy!! never seen you with natural !! also red hair is one my favs honestly wifh blue eyes bruhhh
It looks stunning! Your hair is getting so long too! I cut my hair just because I was struggling to take care of it but it was the longest it had been in a decade so I highly reccomend you don't cut it until you're truly sick of it ~ short hair rocks but long hair is so hard to get 😅
Blue never disappears... it's always there, waiting for you to bleach your hair so it can show up. I love how you rock red hair, and the blue looks awesome too! Both colors suit you so well. Also, it's very funny that I'm one of those who sent you the video of Sophie Hannah 😅
aka aislinn recently did a video using a colour remover that took out a lot of colour. Other idea is to do the Vit c hair mask thing. I hope I’m making some sense.
The end result is stunning (u won't see the blue until like 4 or5 months so ur gonna do fine till then, I think then u would already want blue again in ur hair) and u Def should get sew ins or tape ins again
lindy i literally remember learning the color-neutralizing technique from you way before anybody else i watched was using it! (the video title is "trying to go from green to blonde hair in 1 day with NO BLEACH & it actually works") the colors in that video are way lighter so maybe that's why, but i thought it was ironic that you were crediting another channel/video when i've used this technique before because of you! love the red!
I don't know the TH-camr you referenced (I'm sure she's lovely!) but from where I'm sitting, you always look perfect at the end too. I've yet to see a hair color your skin tone isn't flattered by, and you always know how to style it out. I'm always impressed.
Ohh woooowwww this red is diviiiine ✨✨✨🙏🙏🙏🙏 Dyed Redhead here: retouch them with Wella Colour Fresh,it’s phenomenal (Demi permanent) or their Wella Color Fresh Mask (its a conditioner with pigment in it,works best on dried hair) If you want a permanent vivid dye the best one is Goldwell tho!
Petition for this hairstyle tutorial!! (the one of the end of the video) 😭😭😭 Also this hair color looks SO stunning on you it makes me wanna go back to red as well and i used to be a redhead for over 8 years in the past. ❤❤❤
That totally worked!!! I have to try this now lol I have a weird minty green that just won’t fade out so I’ll try this thank you so much!!! Even at middle point it looked amazing on you
Congratulations! Finally you got your desired haircolour (which suits you very well by the way!) ...can't wait for the video you decide to go blue again 😂
I had a fiasco with turquoise dye burgundy and orange I tried to cancel out the colors it didn't work I had to bleach my hair which is dyed light golden brown and it was waist length it got destroyed from trying to remove color and I just cut into a shag and I love it no more craziness for me I'm sticking to one color from now on...i feel your struggle with those colors and I lovvveeee how orange turned out 🧡my favorite 🧡🔥
i put red henna over my outgrown blue/green hair. even if i dont dye for months the green/blue isnt coming through so it shouldnt rly come back with red i think as it neutralizes. i cant say how it would go if you would bleach your hair again tho. also, the red looks stunning on you! the green makeup rly pops well with it too
If it weren't for that little bit of blue peaking through I'd have wished for you to stick with that brown/blonde hair for a little while! It looked soooo autumn. You could've really styled it well with autumn-themed outfits
My hair looked like this after the purple I had in my ends washed out. Only thing that got rid of the blue was slowly cutting it and putting yellow or straight up green over it to make it the green I wanted. Now I have the yellowish green I've wanted from the beginning with not even a tiny blue tint anymore. I'm not one to constantly change colors and I'll keep the green for years and already had it for 3 years now and if I ever want to get rid of it I just cut my hair shorter. This is why I only color my ends after all.
Im not sure if you have it in the Netherlands but I use Color silk 03 Ultra blonde to get the color out. I had a blue that washed out to a green and did the Ultra Blonde and it worked perfectly. It's a cheap box dye I've been using for 20+ years so I trust it more than any other box dye.
i accidentally over toned by hair with blue semi permanent conditioner and i used a rep protein filler and mixed it my shampoo.. let it sit for 30 mins and it was the sexiest neutral color i ever seen . the red was very warm toned
I only have the ends of my hair colored because I had to stop bleaching my hair. I had blue ends and put burgundy over them and it was purple and Burgundy for one wash. Then some color came out and now it's purple, burgundy, blue and pink and I really like it.
I love those videos!! I've had my natural hair color all my life, and I'm not planning on changing it So I'm glad you're going through all those troubles "for" me 😉❤️
the orange and brown was such a vibe, it compliments your skin tone so well
If it wasn't patchy and didn't have that spot of green, it would have been everything.
I love this color on her. Came here to say this
No…
I agree it suited her so well
Thats the horrible curse that comes with being . . . hot. Everything looks pretty great on her. 🔥💋🤷♂️🙃
I love that spicey red hair on you! You look gorgeous. I have copper hair, but now I think I'm going back to red!
That red looks SO GOOD on you!
cosmetologist here! for a better result use a demi permanent dye so that way it’s actually cancelling out the blue and not just sitting on top of it. when u use semi it’s not doing much but just sitting on top of ur hair strand. the next time u bleach ur hair it will most likely lift and still be blue.
So will it bleach back to blonde after the orange??
Thanks for the tip!!!🙌🏻
I know you are feeling yourself with red hair but the orange mixture was just GORGEOUSLY STUNNING omg
I just glanced at your old makeup tutorials and OMG you look so different now and I'm HERE FOR IT. You've blossomed into a beautiful colorful queeeeen. I live vicariously through you dying your hair. i've heard that ion pigments in hot red works really well! just keep it in your shower :D
My solution was to switch to pink and embrace the fade. I really love all the different colors pink fades too, it's like I get a new color every shampoo.

OMG THE RED!! I LOVE THIS!! It looks so good with your skin color and your eyes!! THIS IS EPIC!!

But congrats! Beautiful red hair :) Glad it worked out for you!!
Lindy: idk why my hair never comes out perfect
Also Lindy: squirts dye directly on top of head
😂
Fr i had a brad mondo type moment when she did that
My thoughts exactly
red looks soooo gooood on you especially with the darker tips. i love it
The end results were absolutely fabulous!!!! I love the different shades of red it turned out. Great job!😍
Red hair is such a vibe and I’m obsessed with it!
i used to have brightly coloured hair for years, mostly in the blue and green family but because of my work i can't do that as much anymore so i stick to fiery orange and red and have done so for a little over year now and I LOVE it. sometimes i miss my emerald green but i get so many compliments on my hair and it makes me feel hella cute.

Red looks good on you!!! I have blue right now and I'm not digging it. Cuz I think I need warmer tones in my hair for my complexion.
Loving how vibrant the end result came out! Reds really do cover up a world of hurt. Although that orangey-brown hair color you had on before was just begging for some ginger hair dye... Spicy ginger/copper next maybe?
Wow your hair is getting longer it looks so pretty!
the natural with the brown ends blonde root looks crazy and beautiful honestly so buzzy!! never seen you with natural !!

The stunning vibrancy and incredibly healthy result too of your tresses. Such a bombshell vibe, this red is dynamite on you 🍒🌹🐞
Blue never disappears... it's always there, waiting for you to bleach your hair so it can show up.
I love how you rock red hair, and the blue looks awesome too! Both colors suit you so well.

The end result is stunning (u won't see the blue until like 4 or5 months so ur gonna do fine till then, I think then u would already want blue again in ur hair) and u Def should get sew ins or tape ins again
I never would’ve thought that I’d see lindy with brown hair, but i really like it 😯
Oh wow! The red suits you extremely well! Not only does it matches your skintone perfectly, it also makes you look younger
lindy i literally remember learning the color-neutralizing technique from you way before anybody else i watched was using it! I LOOOVVEE THE RED!!!! It suits you so well!
I LOVE THE RED HAIR ON U OMGGGGG
Im not sure if you have it in the Netherlands but I use Color silk 03 Ultra blonde to get the color out. I had a blue that washed out to a green and did the Ultra Blonde and it worked perfectly.
It's a cheap box dye I've been using for 20+ years so I trust it more than any other box dye.

i accidentally over toned by hair with blue semi permanent conditioner and i used a rep protein filler and mixed it my shampoo.. let it sit for 30 mins and it was the sexiest neutral color i ever seen . the red was very warm toned
Gorgeous red hair!!!❤️🔥❤️🔥🤌🏻
I did this a few weeks ago on my blue hair. Unfortunately the red has washed out very quickly but a very pretty lilac/light purple has come through😊
you would look so cute in a light strawberry blonde color!
Red is your colour! Gorgeous!
Fire nation Lindy 🔥
The red looks amazing on youuuu
OMG 😱😱 this eye look is EVERYTHING!!!! PLEASE DO A TUTORIAL!!!!! 💕💕😊👌
I only have the ends of my hair colored because I had to stop bleaching my hair. I had blue ends and put burgundy over them and it was purple and Burgundy for one wash. Then some color came out and now it's purple, burgundy, blue and pink and I really like it.

Look up L'Oreal Majicontrast Pure Copper. I put it over my bottle green hair. Lifted it all out and was so bright and vibrant x ❤️ x
