You are correct, technically it is in Andersonville. This was one of the first videos I made after moving to Knoxville, so I was still a bit new to the area, lol. Loyston is a great trail and a ton of fun to ride.
Yeah, my plant closed down in Charlotte and I put in a transfer to Knoxville and was offered a job here. Knoxville is awesome, the MTB scene is great and there are tons of like minded riders here.
Dixie River entrance is 1.1 south of Dixie Grill & Grocery on the right on Dixie River Rd. There is a gate that you need a combination to get inside but you can park down the street and ride in.
I rode this for the first time recently. This is definitely one of the more fun trails to ride. Super flowy but not too technical. Just tons of fun!
Thanks for sharing! I haven’t ridden Mill Creek Loop yet but I have Loyston Loop several times.
You are missing out then, Mill Creek is the highlight of the trail system. Awesome in both directions.
Loyston trail is actually in Andersonville, TN.
I've only been to Loyston trail only 1 time.

Guess you ended up moving to TN. Miss your NC coverage. Will you give me a hint to Dixie’s location? Still can’t find it. Best of luck over there.
