      It's interesting that certain cetaceans are learning to lung on to the land to catch prey that wanders too close. Sharks will do it too in rare opportunities.

    Hey Animalogic you should do a follow up on those cute swimming pigs. Considering you said they are totally depend to people for food. I’m guessing it’s a dire situation for them considering the Covid-19 situation for humans. Would be nice to know they have adapted and are still thriving, but that’s just wishful thinking.

      i feel like this video was discussing the possible adaption changes happening to species that didnt originally happen to become amphibious. Otters have been that way for years. But animals like jaguars are adapting to the water more and more as their natural original hunting grounds are being depleted, same with the wolves and polar bears that are adapting to more aquatic lifestyles.

Im also talking about how they are becoming more aquatic than they used to be, not arguing they didnt hunt caimans but you dont have to be amphibious to hunt them entirely. The video is showing them becoming more and more adapted to the water realm. Also otters have been way for hundreds of thousands (if not a few million) years unlike jaguars.

    Nice video as always! I would have mentioned minks too. Theyre arent fully aquatic but they do usually live neat water and are excellent swimmers. They eat lots of stuff including fish. And probably crabs as well. Im not sure about clams or oysters since I dont know if they can get into their shells. But they are pretty smart and persistant. Anyway love your videos! Later!

    Exactly how genetically distinct are sea wolves from their more terrestrial cousins? Is it on a subspecies or species level?

      Sub for sure, they're still called grey wolves and their sub species are very diverse
      Cannis lupus
      -> Canis lupus familiaris
      -> Canis lupus dingo
      -> Canis lupus lupus
      But as of now they are still officially just canis lupus, their status as sub species is still up for debate
