I just watched it for the first time after putting it off for years, never seen a film like it, my big brother has been in his shoes before and even looks like him, hit home hard
Great stuff, man. A little tip: I understand the desire to make cuts inline with the music, but there are times where you can let a clip play out a little longer, which might give a more satisfying, and completion feeling. When cutting to new scenes, there should always be beginning, middle, and end (three clips) to encompass a story for that verse. You can take this all with a grain of salt.
i know what you mean. but that wasnt the point of doing it in this video. the beat-to-beat of the song is enough to catch facial expressions, important details of the story etc. if you see it good, i even missed some cuts , that i did intentionally. i wanted to make shorter cuts because the song is quite fast and also i didnt see the problem with it, shorter cuts still managed to adress the message i meant to portray here in this video. the completion part, is at the very end of an edit right after the funeral scene.
@@willis.c in what way is this song fast..? i swear half of these "editors" spend so much time editing but dont actually think about what they're doing
No it didn't, yeah Jarhead 2 sucked balls but this one didn't. It actually showed what it would be like in the military rather than the average action packed superhero soldier movie from Hollywood.
Movie so good that I watched it 3 times in the past 2 days. Made me emotional.
