    "Knowing me knowing you" (1976)
is one of ABBA's most famous heartthrob songs
The lyrics are strong and raw
(some say there is a preview of the couple conflicts between the blonde singer Agnetha & guitarist Björn)
And it has a powerful chorus on Agnetha & Frida, and a nice melody
These is an excellent official video,
it shows the four of them in separation situations, and plays with the images of the trios
The part that stands out the most
is the appearance of the image of Agnetha almost whispering
as a reflection of Frida's main voice
    "Knowing me knowing you"
was five weeks in a row at #1 in the UK,
and one of them coincided with the #1 of "Dancing Queen" on the Billboard.
(Just this week of April 9, 1977, 46 years ago, ABBA was #1 in the U.S. and U.K.
with two different songs from the same album)
    "Knowing me knowing you"
is one of their hits that ABBA recorded in spanish at 1980,
    with the tittle: "Conociéndome, Conociéndote",
part of their album in spanish language
    "Gracias por la música" (1980)
ABBA recorded in spanish after the colossal success of "Chiquitita" (1979) in Latin American countries
    For a new suggestion,
the first heartbroken ABBA song that was worldwide hit: "S.O.S." (1975)
the second worldwide hit to ABBA since their victory at Eurovision with "Waterloo"
or the biggest ABBA worldwide hit
    "Dancing Queen" (1976)
    or their first worldwide hit
    "Waterloo" (1974)
specialy the live perfomance in Brighton UK
when ABBA win the Eurovisión Song Contest
I hope to see you in next reaction to ABBA
My best regards to You from
    Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷
    South América

Great song from a great group. Not sure how much you know about them. The group is actually 2 married couples from Sweden the man with beard Benny, married the red headed woman Anni-Frid aka Frida and the other man Bjorn married the blonde girl named Agnetha. The men wrote all their songs and played many instruments (Benny usually piano and Bjorn usually guitar) and the woman both had incredible voices and took turns on lead vocals but when they sang together no one could harmonize like Agnetha and Frida. Thats where ABBAS name comes from the initials of their first names
    Anni-Frid
    Benny
    Bjorn
    Agnetha
For a fun song try "if it wasn't for the nights" live from japanese tv 1977 take care and looking forward to some more ABBA

This one is from '76! So much more to discover from the second most successful band in history! Realise that they were the first doing videoclips long before the MTV era.

    I enjoyed your reaction.
ABBA doing music videos before MTV was even a pipe dream.
    Embrace the retro 🤗
The men may only be doing a little backing but they composed the songs and played the instruments so give them some credit!
Originally they were planning on being the leads and the girls backing but realised the girls were much better singers and looked a whole lot prettier.
That self awareness turned into an act of genius as ABBA became one of the best selling bands of all time.
I hope you can do more ABBA.
"SOS" is another big hit but please react to a live version rather than the official video for that one if you do it.

The men aren't just "Aha - ing it - they actually play instruments then apply backing vocals. The Aha bit is a trademark of ABBA, if you listen to their library of songs there are plenty of Aha - ing lol

Just a gentle reminder that the men are geniuses behind the songwriting of the best pop songs ever written. Having said that the vocal brilliance of the ladies always shines through. The four of them were a match made in heaven 😊

The best group ever, decades of hits all no1's. 70's 80' 90's. World Wide fame. The list is long and you should listen to more, dont judge on just one. An absolute phenomenon. Then after these perhaps you should listen to Annie Lennox another brilliant voice.

You should listen to lyrics. After all, they are usually the reason the song is written.

Seriously, you can here the tones and the way they are singing, swedish melankoli . No it is not a jolly song.

As with most ABBA songs with sad lyrics, the beat remains up tempo.
      That is what she meant.

The women were great without a doubt. But you should know that the two male band members wrote all these brilliant songs. ABBA couldn't exist without the ladies, but without Benny and Bjorn Agneta and Frida needed other song writers who wouldn't have half the talent of these two guys. With other words these four highly talented people were a wonderful match.
