Unrelated to the cam, but how do you like those nittos on the back? I have a set on my camaro and they feel good, they just never catch traction under like 30mph
Average at best. I run mickey Thompson 255 16s for a stock wheel. Plan in getting 15s and push to 315 eventually. M/t have great grip, cut 1.5xx 60 ft times with stock heads and intake
Hi , love the cam, I want to order this particular one for my LS1, I know it's a BTR stage 4 , but what are the lobe specs for this cam? Because I want the same one, just out of curiosity, is this the spec for that cam 233/248.630"/.6 15" 111.5+2.5? Thanks 😊
@StreetRacing606 Thank you so much for replying 🙃 can I just ask one more question? Is what's the exhaust setup? Is it a 4 into 1? 1 7/8 headers and what is the rest on the exhaust size , and did you use mufflers? The car sounds INCREDIBLE!!! thanks, From australia 🇦🇺
@@StreetRacing606 dual exhaust is nice but single pipe always sounds better and if I'm not mistaken the exhaust pulses merging helps pull more exhaust. Im gonna pull the 6.0l vortec and 4l80e out of my cclb dually (it's a swap vehicle already, it just isn't really what I want) and stuff it in my 04 cateye. My 04 is a single cab, rear wheel drive and I think a mildly built 6.0 will be perfect. I'll be using the btr stage 4 truck cam and I want to use jesel pedestal mount rockers, che bushings, beehive springs, ported tbss intake manifold, lunati voodoo crank and rods, diamond pistons (not stroked, just punched over 30 thousandths) kooks 1 7/8 long tubes to catless y pipe to full 3 inch exhaust with a spin tech pro shootout 4000 muffler. The 4l80e will be mildly built, or I'll just get a performabuilt unit and send in my core. Gonna get a sway bar and some front end upgrades to handle the extra weight and power and maybe a ford 9 inch rear end because I don't want a heavy ass 14 bolt on there. I'm gonna go Bilstein shocks in the rear and viking coilovers up front (factory coilover truck, no stupid ass torsion bars) with some decently long traction bars. Otherwise I want it to look stock as can be.
@@JuniorBobadilla-lo4xu nice! I ran this cam on my stick shift car so I never ran it on a auto car but I would atleast do a 3400 maybe even higher depending on what power added and such.
Heads were stock ls1 heads just some mild bench port work done which was not needed at all this cam worked fine on the stock heads car made mid 400’s on that setup!
@StreetRacing606 nice! I'm really looking forward on getting this cam but I want to run 243 heads but I'm still lost in the push rod length that's why I was wondering but it sounds super sick man🤙
Awesome sounding hot rod but did anyone else see the ghost apparition looking thing come into view at the 20 second mark? Weird!? Maybe a spooked ghost dog? Not talking about the reflection of the the dog in the bumper either. Anyway, nice cam. I got me one too

My car is stock with suspension upgrades.. Nittos aren’t good for traction in 1st gear for me. I spin straight.

Car has 1 7/8 headers 3.5 inch custom built y pipe then goes into a custom built 4 inch straight dumped over the axle.
@StreetRacing606 Thanks, Champ, for your help. Once again, your car sounds amazing!!! Have an awesome day.

What's recommended stall for this cam
I would run at least a 3400

What is the drivability of the stage 4? Would thia be a decent daily driver with a 6 spd? 99 Trans am 6 spd here
Also curious I’m in the same boat. Did you ever find a good cam?
Hell no the car shakes at every stop and is very stiff when cruising stick to a stage 2-3

I used the 7.400 push rod length on the btr stage 4 cam. They worked fine with my setup! Should work on yours as well! Good luck with the build !
Is this a truck cam ?
no

Yes
