Keep up the good work with the 4-H shooting sports. Great program that I worked with for years. My daughter wanted to start shooting in 4-H when she was 12.
Thanks for the great video Wade! I am fairly new to compound bow archery, I shot recurve for a while but really love compound more and now fully committed to it instead. But I am having an issue and I can't seem to find the cause of it. I have searched online and it seems like nobody else has this issue lol I wanted to ask you if hand placement, form , or cam timing or anything else causes the cable string to pop off of the cable rails or wheels(im blanking on the exact term of it right now but its the little rollers that hold back the cables from touching each other and your arm) after shooting a shot. So, I don't have the greatest bow ever its the karnage dynamic bow i bought from bear(im not exactly swimming in money) and the original cable guards it came with had the same issue, after i shot, the cable string would pop out of the guard, just one string and i would have to pop it back in. This would only happen every now and then with the manufacturers plastic cable guard. I thought ok m,aybe the cable guard itself was the issue so i ordered a different cable guard off amazon that has the wheels on it and changed that out but now after EVERY single shot the cable string still pops off and i have to keep putting it back on to take the next shot and I'm sure its wearing my cables down because of that. I have no idea whats causing it and have been looking for answers. Also, if you're in Florida, do you know of any good places to shoot longer distances around Jacksonville? Currently I just shoot in the backyard and its not that large lol the places i looked up seem to be closed for good. If you have a moment to give me some tips on these questions i'd truly appreciate it. If not, thanks for the great videos either way, I watched several and they've been a great help.
