I love my Consequence 1. My dealer gave me a set of performance mods to run on the original Consequence and I am already running the Epsilon rest. I do like the more sleek look of the 2 and the upgraded aluminum of the 2. Looks like a very solid offering from Darton.
@Eightball2516 from what I remember this Darton is a little smoother draw and maybe a tad "higher quality" parts. But that bear is a good bow as well for sure!
Hi Wade, interested in your opinion on this vs the Athens Elevate (I know they're discontinued). I've got an opportunity to pick either of these up for the same price. Currently have a Hoyt VTM and a Vista 35 for reference.
@joelbearham5785 I think the Elevate is a tad "better performance" but the disadvantage is gonna be fiding parts. The consequence is an amazing bow the speeds and draw cycle are similar. Elevate is gonna be a few fps faster I never thought I'd suggest another bow over an Athens, but I'd probably go with the consequence just for the security of know i could find anything needed.
@vaughnprecision I fell the consequence has a smoother draw cycle but other than that I couldn't give ya a good comparison. And the consequence with its 7" brace hight will he a tad more forgiving. But i have not put time behind a prelude
@codyperkinsoutdoors thanks my Brother! I wanted a way to show people the best way I could so they could at least picture what was going on. It's one thing to just listen to someone say "this is smooth or this is aggressive " at least this way you can get an idea

For sure. It has a lot of good features that most $700/$800 bows dont have. The only thing this thing don't have that I would like to see is a rear stab mounting hole. That is it. Definitely a good rig!
@bc454irocz89 me personally I felt like the original mods were a tad smoother and the extra 6 fps just to me personally wasn't worth the extra little bit of effort. But I'm a comfortable draw over speed guy. If you are someone who wants every ounce of performance they can get, then I'd recommend the performance mods.
@jamesosborne5950 bear makes some good products for sure. Amd theu have been around a long time. Darton has been around a long time too. I know you will be impressed with the consequence!
I really wanted this bow untill i came across the AT forum and realised how many people where gaving limb failure issues. That was the only reason i decided to stay away from the cinsequence

450 gr arrow @ 291fps on a comfort mod sounds like a whitetail hunters dream. Great review👍🏻

Can you show exactly how to change draw weight on the consequence 2? I cannot find the set screw you have to loosen before you adjust the limbs.
Still torn between this bow and the bear white tail max both bows are awesome and I love the ata on this bow short great for hunting from the ground

I’m undecided between the Consequence 2 and the Prelude. I mostly do 3D shoots and hunt. Do you have any opinions between them ..?
