Aw these pieces are so wonderful! I wonder - what’s the difference between just glazing with the red orange and black as opposed to doing underglaze and then a clear glaze on top? Thankyou!
Thank you! 🎃😊 For me it’s a matter of risk and what materials I already have on hand. I know my clay, underglaze and clear glaze combination always comes out perfect. Glazing with new colours always requires testing and I didn’t have the time to do that for this project. Plus it’s an extra cost liability if things don’t work out. Underglazes also won’t run into each other when they touch, so I find them a little bit more forgiving 😄
