After taking acoustics, your friend was right, but they only diffuse high frequencies and maybe high mid. (A major lesson we had was things that try to diffuse and absorb at the same time are not as good as something that just diffuses or just absorbs.) It looks like your absorbers are directly above your head when you sit (from the angle of the video), you want to move them to be more in the middle between your monitors and sweet spot. You can use a room mode calculator and a mirror to figure out exactly where you should place them. The same goes any abosrbers that are orthogonal (fancy word alert!) to your sweet spot. You want these more forward generally to block 1st order reflections. Fixing it the same way you would the others. I really respect your stuff! Your a great inspiration! One day I hope to have a studio of a similar set up! Thanks for your work!
SeamlessR, I think its safe to say your new and improved studio takes more power than a rocket from All Is Fair In Love and Brostep lol. I am envious of your setup, but you've definitely earned it. Congrats on that being awarded that silver button from TH-cam as well :)
I'm interested in learning more about acoustics in a room, and would love to see a video about the different things you know and about soundproofing and such.
I wish you would have talked about that mouse pad a little more. But I guess no harm in browsing through the razor website; looking at stuff I can't afford anyways *sighs
9:21 Oh my god please Seamless move that open water bottle away from the $5000 computer. Lol I never thought we'd get another studio tour after the comments on the last one. Looking slightly cleaner Seamless and very fun. I could spend all day in there.
What I want to know is if any of the old content will be coming back. Like the tracks from scratch and stuff. Also the Infinity k tutorials were awesome, wish you'd do more of those.
Can you tell us how you ended up with that deal with razer? I've always been interested in that kind of stuff. Also been subscribed since 2012 and it's awesome to finally see the studio in full glory.
did you build a box within a room to do the acoustics more accuratley? I see a gsp between a wall and window and can imagine that would be what was done?
I'm concerned about your production pc specs, you say that the i7-7820HK that razer put in your new production laptop is better than the previous production pc, but it underperforms in single core performance compared to your old cpu by about 10%. IL says that the main way to increase performance is to increase single core performance. Also, laptops are known to thermal throttle more than desktops. Some of the other aspects of the production pc (raid 0, etc) are pretty similar, but I'm still coming back to the perceived performance of your old PC vs the razer blade pro. Is it just the GPU that makes it feel faster? Is it because it's a clean installation of windows (and not much is weighing you down)? I want to see a side by side comparison of some of the more demanding project files you have, and see what the performance is comparatively, or at least do some benchmarks
The real test of CPU power was never really about FL itself. The real tests were doing FL stuff while streaming/recording/all that stuff. But I mean, I had thought about doing such comparisons in a video. There's likely a lot of reasons why the laptop feels faster with technically lower specs. The thing about this particular machine is that, so far, I haven't run into the typical laptoppy problems. I sometimes forget I'm using a laptop at all and not just a regular PC (because the fans on it are still quieter than my actual PCs, even at load). So while there might be some percentage of pure power lost, it is all more than made up for by the form factor. As well, my SSDs were old and probably slower than they should have been. But raid 0 m.2 SSds is just so much faster than anything in my old comp. It also helps that I didn't pay for it ;p
I hear you on this a little bit. I believe that the new razor may run comparably to his old machine. But the razor is a $5000 computer. It may be about as good as his old machine but it's nowhere near as good as it should be for the price tag. If I had $5000 I'd build 2 razors minus the 2 PCIe drives in raid 0 and plus an extra 32g of ram and an extra 2 cpu cores. Can't support razor because you know in their heart of hearts if they could be whatever they wanted, they'd be apple.
Jeez, SeamlessR CABLE MANAGEMENT. Please, for the love of god lol I know it's not a big deal for anyone else, but I come from the Audiovisual/Live production world. So this video is a trigger for me lol
I have that same alesis keyboard! Only recently started to get into producing but I can't seem to get the pads and other things besides the keys to work in FL. won't install drivers when I plug it in either any tips?
So how long have you owned this spaceship? How well does the iPad Fl Studio remote app interface with FL Studio on windows? (I've got the app but haven't really hashed it out yet)
Approximately how much does a set up like this cost? I mean, everything in this room that contributes to your studio other than the couch, chair, desk, etc...
Hello seamless. I'm already a FL studio user for a long time but can you help me figure out decent way into using outboard gear like comps and EQ with FL studio. im looking to upgrade audio interface so I need suggestions as to what's helpful for a full setup with live gear. Should I invest in mixer with or just another interface, let me know.
Really really glad you're making money from the razor deal but can't say I'll ever buy a razor or recommend it to a friend. The specs don't add up to the price tag. And what do i need 2 PCIe SSD's for? I'm patient I can wait a few milliseconds. Take out that 2nd drive and give me 2 more cpu cores or 32g more of ram. Before I spent 5 grand on a razor I'd build one part for part (minus the intel mobile cpu lol) and then save a few months rent too.
+Cosmic Clayton not for nothing, but having the stupid fast storage means I can have things like the ridiculous EWQL libraries perform better with more of them because it streams gigs of samples from the hard drive. No one will argue the commensurately large price point :p
Seamless, my man, if you like this red studio, then it's fine. But if you don't, stuff your place with oled lights all over the place ;) just a piece of advice if you are tired of this red
This is a rgb light strip, really cheap and usefull: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NA6L1JF/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=sl1&tag=techfdinne-20&linkId=7680daf0783671c8c68e8fa54dfeb8a7

The fans got a lot less loud once I propped the back of the thing up a bit to give it slightly more exhaust room. My desk is a bit of a cluttered environment for it ;p
2 Things:
Doesnt it get f*ckn hot in there?
How do you clean this?
Yes, and not very often.
Where do you keep your bong? I know it's in there somewhere
BRING BACK THE STREAMS
Dan Wrenn please

I like the messy feel about the studio. You know shit gets done here.
I like the Ableton logo's on the door
You Sir just won.
professional digital home recording studio - god bless you my friend
this should have been a 360° video
SeamlessR, I think its safe to say your new and improved studio takes more power than a rocket from All Is Fair In Love and Brostep lol. I am envious of your setup, but you've definitely earned it. Congrats on that being awarded that silver button from TH-cam as well :)
Oh also, having the camera on your head to do this video was a great idea! I hope you continue doing it so we can see what you see. 😄
It's like a mad scientist's lab
Thank you for take youre time and gave us a tour! cheers!
I waited years for this.
YEARS
Great POV for the tour.
Oh man, it looks so damn cozy in there. I'd love to like live in there.
I STILL WANT TO KNOW WHATS BEHIND THAT DOOR! I bet its like walking into Narnia.
Thank you for showing us your studio. Now we demand track from stratch.
I have never clicked a video this fast before
Dror Bazer same
agreed
ye
i know lol
Same
13:27 THE YAMAHEY, YAMAHÖÖY YAMAHA MG12
Silvain Nordseal I died
I would not suggest to have an open water bottle besides that stuff
Oh my gosh right.
that's what warranties are for
nope... it's your own fault if you short circuit your device because of your own stupidity...
he closed the water bottle half way thru
I agree it should be beer
I'm interested in learning more about acoustics in a room, and would love to see a video about the different things you know and about soundproofing and such.
I just wanted to put my vote in for you to do an extensive in-depth video about your Razer controlling your analog setup. Thanks for the vid. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Nice, Seamless!
That little midi demo was super dope! Any chance that'll become a full track at some point or was that just shenanigans
That was the most seamless ;) product promotion video I've seen in a while
I wish you would have talked about that mouse pad a little more. But I guess no harm in browsing through the razor website; looking at stuff I can't afford anyways *sighs
You have quite the set up man! How do you even start down that path? I've been looking into the equipment myself and it's pricey!
9:21 Oh my god please Seamless move that open water bottle away from the $5000 computer. Lol I never thought we'd get another studio tour after the comments on the last one. Looking slightly cleaner Seamless and very fun. I could spend all day in there.
Seamless .. you are the best .
Considering how much time you spend sitting, you might want to invest in a Herman Miller Aeron chair. We have them at work and they are GLORIOUS.
That studio looks so fucking cozy
if you havent, try to put your spacebar on backwards, the corner of it wont dig into your thumb and it feels softer.
I might be a little late on this, but what happened to the midi bass?
man those krks are wonderful i bet they sound cool
keep up the good work Seamless! longtime viewer here and I was shocked to see you're at 133k subs. YOU DESERVE WAY MORE 😍😍😍
so that's where the Seamless R
Whens that album with "A new thing, eh" comin out
0:12 wow this minecraft lets play looks great
I had to use sooooo much redstone to craft those modular synths.
I think I have the same chair lol! Nice tour man, dig the modular set up you've got going on!
What I want to know is if any of the old content will be coming back. Like the tracks from scratch and stuff. Also the Infinity k tutorials were awesome, wish you'd do more of those.
that tea drinking top hat tipping British man I saw you on another video a while ago with a top comment, can't remember where tho
Maybe.
OfficialHydracor Been there many times for many reasons and not always good ones. Still funny though so, cheers!
SeamlessR ....So you're saying there's a chance?
that tea drinking top hat tipping British man that's right you got one of the top comments on teminite- get down on DSG ;)
Can you tell us how you ended up with that deal with razer? I've always been interested in that kind of stuff. Also been subscribed since 2012 and it's awesome to finally see the studio in full glory.

I have the ST6s too. Even though I upgraded, I will NEVER sell them. They are fantastic monitors.
Atomic war breaks out.
Do you hide in a bunker with soup and water, or Seamless' studio?
this room is soo coooool!
"I'd pick digital over analog every day."
*ANALOG PURISTS UNITE*
DIGITAL NORMIE REEEEEE
btw I think you should get the MPC X instead of the Toraiz SP-16, 'cause it has CV 'n' stuff.
Circl3s lol that's exactly what I thought. He probably triggered some enthusiasts
I like your studio
he's alive

Please can you do an overview of the Toraiz? It seems like being a DJ company, they didn't send review units to any of the channels I follow.
I suppose I can :p
When you'll release a new EP, eh?
Question about the Razor partnership: Will you be doing cool stuff with the mousepad? ;)
Well, Fl does have a Chroma plugin. One day, I want to do a big ol light show with a track ;p So yes ;p
Didn't expect that response, I said it as a joke. This shows why you are actually the dopest dude ever.
So how long have you owned this spaceship? How well does the iPad Fl Studio remote app interface with FL Studio on windows? (I've got the app but haven't really hashed it out yet)
When are you going to get a bigger room for all that gold?
awesome
helo semlessR i am building my new studio roight now. pls can u say me how big my water tank needs to be. moi room isREAK big
1:01 theres a window, WHICH MEANS HE LIVES IN HIS -MOM'S- BASEMENT
Not even one window! xD How do you let in fresh air?
Approximately how much does a set up like this cost? I mean, everything in this room that contributes to your studio other than the couch, chair, desk, etc...
No neon lights and other slickness?
I have a question how bad is you electric bill, not even being a smart ass. Just curious.
Christopher Little It's SeamlessR
How does air get in the room? Is that a small window above your larger monitor?
Do you ever feel a bit claustrophobic or simply cramped in this room?
1.21 Giga Watts! When this baby gets up to 88 bpms , your gonna hear some serious sh!t
It's a back to the future reference
Hello seamless. can i use your song antecoder? i will leave a text on screen stating not the owner of this song and leave a link in the description.
Can all that mess be an electric hazard? I am really curios
Without watching the entire video, how did so many strips of paint get ripped off the window?
so what does your deal with razor consist of?
What's the t-shirt in the back?
That's the first test print of the first run of t-shirts my metal band sold.
Oh, I see now. R for Razer. :P
My account name for windows on the Blade pro is "SeamlessRazer" ;p
great setup. keep it up :)
We need to get you some paint and a new desk. A desk.
Please watch TechSource's video on cable management and his Setup wars, to learn about keeping your room and setup clean. It really helps a lot.
comy af dude
I've always wondered how you get the money for all that stuff. :O
So you find it hard to create in such a cramped and cluttered space? clutter makes me crazy when I'm trying to get ideas out.
You should do a daily vlog
so razer equipment is best for making music? like the audio quality and CPU etc
Ardensity audio quality lol
my processor is sht, i'll need better CPU as well
i hope that was a joke, coz i have an Asus....Intel Core i3 | 1.80 GHz
my laptop was about $1200, and it's garbage! also i've never heard of a laptop that costs only $200
fucking awesome dude god damn
sennheiser hd 280?
the rads are high
How much time DO you spend in the studio?
I'm sure it's not as much time as I do. :P
lol my setup is litterally a mic, hp desktop, monitor and a casio privia 760 piano. :P
how much do you think they are worth without all the softwares and the computer?
Do you use groove music? Have you uninstalled? My computer does not work
Its kinda the same like the previous review?
Really really glad you're making money from the razor deal but can't say I'll ever buy a razor or recommend it to a friend. The specs don't add up to the price tag. SeamlessR should do vlogs some day lol
ALRIGHT HEY GUYS WELCOME TO THE CONTROL ROOM.
Messy af but super dope. Respect
I geekd cus I use the razer mamba 2 XD Lol this was very interesting to watch tho
jeij this was good video :)
would have been perfect if the video was done at 0:07
Yea lol that would be awesome
Haha, I had the same thought. I checked how far in I was when he carried on speaking.
The RADZZZZZ are high indeed! :D
Having a laptop with gtx 1080
I'll probably be gaming on it
