September 2024... I've watched at least four episodes so far. Everything seems historical accurate. The only thing that Ive wrong so far was the Portuguese flag, which only appeared for the first time in 1910, with the series being victorian, makes it a minimum of eight years out of place but apart from that, everything else is way superior than anything made nowadays.
Another original story written specifically for the series but maintaining all the charm and elements of the books .As I've said before it's always fun to check out your uploads to see what little gems of yesteryear you've managed to unearth.Another cosy evenings viewing in store ;o)Bliss
Many thanks for posting this episode. Very good cast, as always! Love seeing John Carson, who could take on any role convincingly - drama, adventure, comedy.
More than welcome...happy they are being enjoyed after all these years...John Carson was great very talented...blimey...trouble is they are all popping off bless...I´m beginning to feel old!!!! But never too old to enjoy a bit of Cribb!!!!
Loved Carson as Mr. Knightley in the 1972 Emma, and in the Miss Tita episode of Affairs of the Heart, based on James' The Aspern Papers. This was a humorous entry in Cribb, and Carson played it for laughs, but not over the top. Great stuff.
Great stuff indeed...i hope to be releasing some more of these classics later on this year..wonderful memories in an age where acting was more important than special effects...I am keeping in mind the suggestions made to me perhaps I can release them...if guide lines allow.........anyway....memories....ahhh....bliss...happy days!!!
love to find a new OLD show .This is a good one Thanks for it.
Sergeant cribb constable Thackeray, absolutely brilliant.
Enjoying the series 29 8. 2024. All these years later they imo stand the test of time.

August 2024 & I've just come across this serious. It is my cup of tea & am enjoying each episode.

Very fine! Many thanks.
The plot line is as complicated as Scooby-Doo, fantastic show 😊
This is a proper TV series, not made for the twenty first century very short attention span.
I'm enjoying this series. I must have missed it when it first came out.
Great series
Loved it, thanks so much!

👌Awesome Story👌
Great sideboards on these chaps.
Otherwise known as " Bugger's grips"
I like Archer's nose. It looks like a bird's beak. 🦅
What does he get out of it indeed.
