Bryan Gworek where did you order it from I can’t seem to find it in stock anywhere
Nice job! I have the same case and same aio but I can't seem to screw the rad to the side panel like you have done. It doesn't fit into the inside recess of the side panel. Seems like the rad is about 1mm too tall.
I am trying to build something similar. I am also using the NR200 Case, B550I AORUS PRO AX and a Ryzen 9 3900X. I am not using a video card as I just needed to power of the CPU but I am adding fans to the top ad bottom of the case ( pulling air from the bottom and exhausting out the top) I also purchased the Kracken X63 but I can't seem to figure out where the connections go. Did you using extenders or splitters for your connections?
Now that practically Nvidia killed the SLI it doesn't make much sense to invest in an ATX motherboard unless the buyer wants to use 4 memory modules but even a Micro ATX has support for 4 memory modules. I always thought that for games a mobo mini-ITX or micro-ATX is enough. From what I saw this NR200 is a beautiful case, it seems to be a little too big for a mini-ITX configuration but that's fine. R.I.P SLI.
They went OOS pretty fast up here in Canada but I got on board with the pre-order as soon as they allowed it on Amazon. AFAIK they're still taking pre-orders for the NR200P which releases on September 16th so might be the same in your market.
Hey, awesome video, it was very relaxing! One question though, aren’t the fans on the kraken backwards? Shouldn’t they be on the opposite side for intake and cooling on the radiator? The way you showed on the video, they are just blowing air inside the case and the radiator is getting no cooling at all, I’m sorry if I misinterpreted.
Doesn't matter what orientation the fans have as long as they are drawing air from outside the case and through the radiator. The fans are oriented in "pull" so they are pulling air through the radiator fins from outside. They can also be oriented in "push" (as you are referring to) where the air is pushed through the radiator fins, but there is negligible difference in performance between "push" and "pull". Some will prefer "pull" as the dust will be caught on the radiator surface, making it easier to clean.
Hi thanks for the video I’m doing almost the same build just wondering how you connected the aio pump, radiator and case fans to the 3 headers on the board .
1 fan splitter for each of the 3 headers. Header 1 powers/controls the bottom two fans, header 2 connects to the rad fans, and header 3 connects to the two top fans. AIO pump connects to the CPU fan header next to the 8-pin power connector.
Does your CAM software read the radiator fan speed? I have a similar build but my radiator fan speed does not show up in CAM. Only on Hwinfo64 they show up.
The FE is actually better for the other components since most of the heat is exhausted from the back of the PC and the heat pushed by the fan on the back of the card is almost negligeable. Standard cards just dump all the heat into the chassi. What will help in all type of cards is the top right fan, the one over the PSU.
How did you wire the noctuas up to the sys fan? I have a similar setup but for whatever reason the fans run at speed and I cant rev them down even though theyre pwm.
Nice build, I am looking to build a mini itx case rtx 3070 rig once the gpu is out, the only thing, i don't know if you can run raid storage when it comes to mini itx.
I put the H115i Pro XT into my NR200 and it sort of fits... You can only fit 6 of the 8 total mounting screws into the Radiator mounting plate of the case. Then getting the rad into the case is the second challenge with its length slightly longer by 1mm - 2mm than the case opening. To get around this, you need to take the top left rail off (@ 2:48 the left top rail with 4 screws). This will allow you to ever so slightly squeeze in past that 1mm. Once in it all fits nice and easy.
Thanks for sharing it. I have the same components. How do you manage the fan connections? Because there are six fans and the motherboard just 3 fans connectors. I believe you use the cpu fan for the pump.
Hi. would anyone know if the NR200 supports small micro ATX boards? my MSI micro ATX is 22cm x 18cm. on paper, it'll fit (NR200 supports 24x22). Just want to know if someone has done this before i buy one.
the gpu fans and noctua fans are constantly fighting against each other... noctua is trying to pull and the gpu fans are trying to push, idk if that is something legit, i fix my airflow of my case and i'm getting a 20%increase at the benchmarks!
Man idk why but I have a hard time believing someone hasn’t found a way to have the AIO mounted on top. It would be so much better. There has to be a way. Not even a slim rad and fans combo wont fit up there?!
@@TechHeadPang Also if you have an SFXL power supply in there you literally just don't have the room to mount a radiator (I use an SFX L in mine and you can't even fit a normal size fan there isn't enough clearance) though I've heard you may be able to mount a 15mm thick fan I haven't had the chance to try myself though
There are a official PSU bracket for this case that let you use a full ATX PSU, in the official page of CM you can download the files to print your own bracket.
Do you find that the bottom fans help thermals? I'm assuming you have them set up as intake and the top as exhaust. I've been reading conflicting things online. Also, did you use a fan hub or did the motherboard have enough fan headers?
Yes optimum tech made a video seeing what itx cases the 3089 fe would work with this was one of those cases this the video th-cam.com/video/J8NXraJiJsU/w-d-xo.html
I’m planning my first pc build just like this! How did you go about connecting all the fans? Are there enough fan headers on the itx motherboard or is a fan controller needed?
Typically 2-3 headers on an itx board. You would need a fan hub which is powered by either molex or sata cables. Most hubs can use the pwm from your motherboard or don't connect it and have them all run at full speed. Depends on your application. This is the one I use in my nr200 with 7 fans. www.amazon.com/dp/B077YHLDSP/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_i_BTeFFbAVEE3KY Exhaust and AIO pump connected to the mobo fan headers. The other 6 fans connected to the hub.
I got a build in that case too. A 3700x cooled by a fuma 2 with noctua fans at 100% during prime 95 small FFT give me a delta temp of 38c. Same test with an ultra quiet profile, fans runing at 1000 rpm i get 47c delta T. For the GPU i can't tell i got a crappy GPU waiting for a 3080
Deshroud the GPU and put full height fans in bottom instead for less noise, particularly turbulence. It's amazing in general and especially with this case.

Once in it all fits nice and easy.
@@bjabram9469 thanks, the kraken x63 aio used in this video is 315mm in length and h115i is 322mm. Glade to hear it fits.
Thanks for sharing it. I have the same components. How do you manage the fan connections? Because there are six fans and the motherboard just 3 fans connectors. I believe you use the cpu fan for the pump.
you use a fan hub for multiple fans
or just use splitters
HOW IS THE TEMPS MY GOO SIR?
Hi is it possible to put the KRAKEN 63 to buttom part and vertical GPU?
No, because the Kraken X63 is a 280mm AIO, but the bottom only supports radiators up to 240mm.
Good vid! May I have the songs names?
How much ?
Nice build! I’m using the same stock fans on the top of the case but I’ve been experiencing loud vibration noises, have you come across this too?
I haven't experienced any loud vibration noises. Maybe check that the fans are flush with the anti-vibration pads on the bottom of the top panel.
Hi. would anyone know if the NR200 supports small micro ATX boards? my MSI micro ATX is 22cm x 18cm. on paper, it'll fit (NR200 supports 24x22). Just want to know if someone has done this before i buy one.
There are a reddit threat that goes about that, seems that specific models of mATX motherboards can fit, so you should search that thread
@@ThePongo92 Thanks mate. I completed a NR200 build last month. The MSI B365 pro-vh Micro ATX fits nicely. Always nice to have that extra PCIE slot.
the gpu fans and noctua fans are constantly fighting against each other... noctua is trying to pull and the gpu fans are trying to push, idk if that is something legit, i fix my airflow of my case and i'm getting a 20%increase at the benchmarks!
B-E-A-utiful....
hi, from where did you purchase the case?
Amazon! Preordered around the end of July and it shipped August 15th.
I know I'm late, but did you use many fans splitters or a fan hub at all?
1 fan splitter for each of the 3 fan headers.
hey, did you use something like a fan hub for the 2 noctua fans + the aio?
I used fan splitters! 3 headers on the board for 6 fans total.
Hi, how did you manage those to fans on top? Are those the stock fans? Thanks
They are stock. One came with the case, the other I bought from CM.
Man idk why but I have a hard time believing someone hasn’t found a way to have the AIO mounted on top. It would be so much better. There has to be a way. Not even a slim rad and fans combo wont fit up there?!
It's the fact you have to use those weird proprietary screws to mount anything up there which won't thread through the radiator screw holes
This exactly. They wanted to be special and made it proprietary....
Are those cables custom? Or are those the ones that come with the psu?
They came with the PSU.
AIO Radiator as an exhaust or intake??
Intake!
fits a normal atx psu, 150mm?
Unfortunately no, only SFX or SFX-L.
There are a official PSU bracket for this case that let you use a full ATX PSU, in the official page of CM you can download the files to print your own bracket.
cool
Do you find that the bottom fans help thermals? I'm assuming you have them set up as intake and the top as exhaust. I've been reading conflicting things online. Also, did you use a fan hub or did the motherboard have enough fan headers?
are the top and bottom fans exhast or intake?
Bottom are intake and top are exhaust.
Hi! How's the aio?
Two years later it's still running like new. Periodically cleaning the computer is super helpful!
Someone forgot to put the io shield on...
These boards have the shield built in. Nothing to install
Can this fit the 3080 with potential good airflow?
This is the one I use in my nr200 with 7 fans.
www.amazon.com/dp/B077YHLDSP/ref=cm_sw_r_u_apa_i_BTeFFbAVEE3KY
Exhaust and AIO pump connected to the mobo fan headers. The other 6 fans connected to the hub.
Can it fit a 3.5 HDD ?
yes , but it's on the PSU
awww forgot to add damn slim fans. hope i don't need it..
thermals? noise? performance??
What thermals do you get ?
Thinking of making a follow-up video for thermals! Stay tuned.
I got a build in that case too. A 3700x cooled by a fuma 2 with noctua fans at 100% during prime 95 small FFT give me a delta temp of 38c. Same test with an ultra quiet profile, fans runing at 1000 rpm i get 47c delta T.
For the GPU i can't tell i got a crappy GPU waiting for a 3080
No water cool?
why intake hot air from radiator?
Intake fans on the rad is getting fresh air, then exhaust the hot air using the top two fans
shintel build instant dislike
May i know what is the advantage of using gaming itx motherboard and normal itx motherboard?
@@kennethandallan8296 will that means the motherboard chipset and capacitor can last longer?
